Staff was very friendly and room was clean with beautiful interior.

Staff friendly, clean and reasonable hotel, good location, meals were tasty and of a good standard. Breakfast up to standard. Steff, Lyle and Callum made my stay a lot better than it could have been - Lyle running reception and restaurant at the same time, but still managing to sort needs - overheard he was only recently started, so very good! Lyle and Callum sorted out food allergies/intolerance on a busy night for the chef, really appreciated that, as it meant I could sleep well! Steff sorted out another night where I wanted to eat in my room, good food, packaged well so I could take it up! Room clean and tidy, serviced when requested. Bathroom clean. If a company is expensing their stay with you, it would be very good to find out about charging the card before the guest arrives at the hotel. Left waiting in the lobby, concerned that I wouldn't have a room having arrived up in Derby. Check in was a 55 minute hassle due to issues of authorisation.. sort it out sooner, please!! Staff are doing far too much, and having to serve the restaurant and the reception desk simultaneously. This has caused issues with the quality they can provide for both - so, keep the excellent staff you have, but hire more. The restaurant ended up understaffed on the last night to the extent of a 45 minute delay on new orders, then long waits for food. Small issues with security, again due to overstretched staff. People waiting outside the lifts with no proof of staying at the hotel, had no way to avoid them tailgating. Perhaps another key card lock on the door before the lifts/stairs? Shower in room and lighting in bathroom were needing maintenance, raised this at the end of my stay with someone newly on shift. They were not as friendly and helpful as Steph, Lyle and Callum had been during the week, and the response from this other member of staff felt more like a 'see if I care' than 'thanks for helping us be our best'. Food prices are a lot, I was glad I'm expensing these meals.. If you give your staff one role or the other, restaurant OR reception, it will improve the quality of the guest experience. Was glad that I felt comfortable to stay as a solo traveller at this hotel, some struggle with the concept of travelling for business alone!

Checked in fast, it’s kinda nice, like a budget paradise, I’m loving every little thing, you know you’re just my style! Ooooh, I’m blinded by the lights, This cozy room is all I need tonight. A quick escape, and the bed’s just right, Premier Inn, yeah, I’m sleeping here tonight. Pillows soft, the mattress firm, I’m sinking in and drifting off, Bathroom’s clean, I’ll steam it up, endless hot water? That’s the stuff. Feels like luxury, but with a super-friendly touch, Goodnight guarantee’s no bluff—got that restful sleepin’ love. Ooooh, I’m blinded by the lights, The glow of purple comfort’s in my sights. Affordable, yet feels so right, Premier Inn, yeah, I'm feeling fine tonight. I’m waking up fresh as dawn, Complimentary tea’s already on, And oh, that breakfast game’s so strong, I’m singing Premier Inn's my song! Ooooh, I’m blinded by the lights, They’ve won me over with their purple signs. Relaxing vibe, and the price is tight, Premier Inn, yeah, I’m sleeping here tonight. 5 Stars for you, Premier Inn!

Stephanie was amazing, she was really hospitable, warm and charismatic. Made my visit to derby much more memorable. Food was fantastic, and service to match it. I would definitely recommend this branch of premier inn if visiting derby, and the sirloin steak too

Came here on my own as I was visiting a convention. All the staff are very happy and helpful. The room was nice and tidy, bathroom was clean. Felt very comfortable staying here, plus it’s local to the city centre too- just across the road! Bus stops outside too! Very nice bar also, just grabbing a drink whilst waiting for the train!

Exactly as it says, a good nights sleep, comfy beds, nice clean towels. Lovely touch to leave a little gift for the kids. Very well organised. An amazing breakfast was had by all 11 of us, plenty of choice for grown ups and the kids. Would definitely stay again.

Had a pleasant stay at the Cathedral Quarter, staff were plesent and friendly, the rooms were very clean and tidy, when we requested for a refresh it was done whilst out, breakfast was very good, what stood out for me was the main door into the bedroom the shutter control worked perfectly in shutting quietly and not banging shut as many Premier Inn places do.

I have stayed at this particular hotel many times. We use it to visit family and enjoy an early morning walk into town.

We were checked in quickly and efficiently by Suzzanne and then she was our waitress for our evening meal. She was so friendly, helpful & polite that it made our stay very enjoyable. We would be very happy to stay here again and would recommend it to others. Thank you.
