Fairfield Inn & Suites Dickson

The staff are extremely nice . We decided to stay over after an extremely late wrestling tournament . It was clean , quiet, pillows and beds were super comfy . They offered breakfast, but we didn’t get up in time. This was definitely the right place to stay for a safe and extremely clean place to stay over.

Clean modern hotel right off I-40, but without any traffic noise. Plenty of free parking space around the building. Check in/out was efficient, the room was clean and spacious. I would have appreciated a safe in the room. The closet is very small and half the hanging space was taken up for storage of the ironing board (with iron attached to it) and the luggage rack took up a lot of its floor space. Like many newer hotels, this one also has drawer fronts that don't cover the entire front of the drawer. I assume the designers think it looks good but it makes me uncomfortable not to be able to leave a pocket book and/or electronics completely out of view. Another reason why a safe would be nice to have. The room has a small refrigerator, a microwave and a coffee maker. The bathroom was a decent size, also clean and modern and well stocked. I appreciate that my room got cleaned without me having to request it, even though I read somewhere that the short duration of my stay meant that it would only be cleaned upon checkout. So thank you Fairfield. The room rate includes breakfast which is available at the back of the lobby - you just help yourself. Good selection of both hot and cold food and they kept it well stocked. There's no restaurant but there are plenty of dining options very close to the hotel and all the way along the road which intersects with I-40, although it's mostly fast food and diners. All in all it was a good choice for my short business trip to Dickson.

This is a very nice hotel. It's in new condition. Very nice staff at the front desk are helpful and have cookies available. Breakfast is good, and coffee is decent. Everything worked as expected. Rooms are quiet. I'll be back to this location.

The hotel is full of lady bugs. The room has hundreds of dead lady bugs under the curtains. Lots of live Lady bugs were flying in the room. The stuff told me that hotel managment refuse to call bug termination services. I would not recommend staying in this place, unless you want to feel like sleeping in the forest. Beside that the location is good, the staff are nice and the breakfast was good.

I think TA should allow for 0 of 5 star reviews. We stayed here a few weeks ago (9/14 room 419) as part of a cross country road trip. What a huge mistake staying at THIS hotel. All didn't seem too bad until we decided to turn in for the night. That was around midnight and too late to really do anything about what we found when we pulled back the bedding. Firstly - the sheets were not only NOT for this bed but they had zero elastic in the entire sheet. It was basically just set upon the mattress. I've added a pic of the sheet after we pulled the comforter off. No, we did not untuck the sheet. That is exactly how we found it. These need thrown out! Next - there was BLOOD on the duvet!! Are we sure? YES! We tested it. My husband and I are healthcare professionals. We travel with a Hydrogen Peroxide solution. Anyone in the biz knows it denatures blood and is the one sure test for it. This was at the top of the duvet, right where our faces and hands would be. Hey Fairfield Inn - blood is a body fluid! Due to its position it would have been impossible for a housekeeper to NOT see this. The duvet was also discolored and, by appearance, had not been washed in a very, very long time. I'm not so sure about the sheets either. Next - the deplorable condition of the top cover (see pic). A HUGE hole in it! Again - this was at the top of the cover and would have been impossible to not see it. Hair in the bathroom was the icing on the cake. This was the kind of room I felt like I needed a shower (somewhere else) after staying in it. It was purely disgusting and in need of a serious look by Marriott corp regarding its failings on even the most minimal standards. I reported our findings/experience to the desk clerk upon check out. She seemed genuinely horrified. We were told the manager was not there. As for the desk staff we encountered, they were very nice and professional but this hotel needs to take a serious look at housekeeping though! I absolutely DO NOT recommend this hotel. Drive as fast as you can past it!

The hotel was fine. Clean room, clean lobby, clean public spaces, but it’s in a really loud location. The hotel sits just off of a major interstate exchange and exit, so the sound of trucks downshifting was ever present. Breakfast was standard hotel fare but hot and kept replenished. I wasn’t happy that the pool was not available since the kids were looking forward to swimming after a long day in the car.

Great service. Clean rooms. Nice television with Netflix option. Very helpful staff. Gave us good information on places to eat. Great location right off interstate. We will stay here again when traveling through.

What an excellent motel. We stayed in about fifteen different motels on our round trip cross country adventure and this one was the best. The check in couldn’t have been more accommodating. This was the first time we’ve stayed at a Fairfield Inn and it won’t be our last. Fairfield is now our go to motel when traveling.

We immediately noticed the odor of the hotel as we were entering. It smelled "old", rather like it still had old smoking odors trapped in the hotel. The staff were all polite and friendly, but, the hotel was definitely run down. The lamp covers in the hallway on our corridor were punctured, slit, and downright old. The room was ok except for the odors. Both of us noticed the really strong odors and commented on it. Bathroom fan worked great, and that was a plus. Mirror didn't fog over after showers. Even the bath towels were rather old and worn. Again, the staff were great - very friendly. I doubt that I would stay there again; or at least try some of the others in the same area. I like Marriott properties, but this one is definitely lacking.
