Me and my girlfriend were on the way from Paris to Dijon on our Europe Vacation with the train. We booked this hotel due to it s proximity to the Train Station. it was perfectly located, very short walk with the luggage to the hotel and also not far to the centre of Dijon. We were very excited to stay in Dijon because we heard so many amazing thing s about this town. we arrived quite early around 10 am at the station. so we thought we can bring the luggage to the hotel and then explore the city until the room would be ready. We knew it s too early to check in but at least we can leave the luggage there. We went inside and there was a lady with black hair at the Front Desk. She didnt say hi or anything. She asked what we wanted, and we said we are checking in today. Before i could explain her about the luggage, she already cut us off and told us with a smirk...it s too early to check in! Thats when i looked at her and said. I know!!!!!I just wanted to ask if we can leave the luggage here at the meantime!! so she pointed to a cabinet where we can store it. Not the friendliest lady for sure. Later on when we checked in..around 2 pm a younger lady was there and she was very friendly! The room was very nice, small but homely with a nice view from the roof! The Hotel has a nice Indoor pool.and jacuzzi area, which is open till 10 pm! The front desk told us that it s open till 10 pm and there are flyers in the room, stating that the pool and sauna and jakuzzi is open till 10 pm... we enjoyed the day sightseeing and having good food all over Dijon. when we were walking home, it was around 9.20 pm, so we thought maybe we can use the jakuzzi still to relax and warm up, just for about 20 mins or so... we went down but it was closed!! My girlfriend called the front desk and asked why it was already closed. The Man at the front desk said he closed it because he is too busy!!!!!That was his excuse?? he s too busy to keep it open!!?? We were ofcourse very dissapointed about this. because the day was amazing and it would have been a perfect ending of the day relaxing in the jakuzzi. why do they promote the pool and jakuzzi area then?and write big that it s open till 10 pm? this was our first time in Dijon.. we loved it for sure, and Hotel is perfect, but the attitude of those 2 staff members put a lil damper on it.
