I saw a discount coupon for this place in one of those coupon magazines you see in the tourist "welcome centers". I've stayed in Econo Lodges before, so I thought I knew what to expect. What fooled me was that the ad stated "resently reconstructed", or something like that. The only thing I saw that was recently reconstructed was that the previous door lock had been replaced with an electronic lock; it looked like the old one had probably been jimmied one too many times :) I entered the room to a disgusting smell with a strong hint of bleach. I asked at the office if all the rooms were like that but didn't seem to get an answer. I fanned the room out by rapidly opening and closing the door about 500 times; it helped a little. There was mold around the bathtub and they didn't even put the same type of lightbulbs in the fixtures; one had at least three different bulb types; a mix of fluorescent, incandesent, and LED, I think. The little mini fridge looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while, but I'm sure the previous occupant must have enjoyed the remains of whatever meal I saw came from. If saving money is your ONLY concern, than this might be suitable for you, but I can tell you, most wives would not put up with this place (my wife wasn't with me, so I roughed it :) ). All things considered, I would say it's probably worth an extra $20 to stay somewhere else.
