Imagine woke up by a really bad disturbance at 1am for screaming, shouting, running the hallway and bagging doors by a group of kids. Mind you, not just one room doing all of this, it's more than 5 rooms. We called the front desk to inform them. We were with our senior citizen mother who needs rest from a long trip. The person in front desk just said " I got it" then hung up the phone since we were not the only one complained. It continued for the last few minutes. We did not see any hotel staff that can control the kids or any adult in the hallway. My husband and I went to the front office and ask the front desk guy nicely (white, old and bald headed). The front desk guy responded to my husband aggressively " What do you want me to do? Spank them?" That was the rudest response to a front desk officer who doesn't know what customer service. IHG Hotel group should look into this and company standards with their staff member's character. We checked out on time even if we have lacked of sleep from that incident. No apologies from the management.
