It's a mixed bag, rooms are clean and tidy but furniture is old, some furniture is very old, for example the tv is from ps2 Era, no hdmi port, tv channels are analog and look like tvs from the 90s, the sofa was broken, they refused to repair it or replace it with another one, they offered a free extra bed for the baby as a compensation, which ruined the room and we had to ask them to remove it and preferred to use the broken sofa; it's not a good sign when your guest thinks sleeping on a broken sofa is the best option you have given them.
Staff is friendly but not all of them are experienced, for example, when I checked in I didn't have cash for the 300 dhz security deposit, so I used my debit card... it turned out that they hold the deposit with actually debitting, which works for credit cards but for doesn't for debit cards I still haven't been refunded the 300 and they didn't take responsibility for it even though the staff manager was involved... they said I should contact the bank, but it's their fault they should have asked if it was a debit or credit card. They even had the nerve to ask for 20 dhz for 1 broken glass and 1 broken cup (in reality those are cheap cup and glass that cost them like 1 dhz each), saying I needed to pay in order for them to issue a void command on their point of sale, which I did because it was only 20 dhz and I didn't have the time to argue, i hopes that someday 300 dhz will be refunded to my account.
Overall, it was an average experience given the price I paid, about 190dhz in April, which is not high season for Dubai and still not summer ... In summer It needs to be no more than 110 to make sense since it is 15 mins walking from nearest metro station and you would have to rely exclusively on taxis to move around.
