Terrible terrible guest service. I accidentally left a physiotherapist-prescribed contour pillow behind and called the motel the same day, but was told to call back, and when I did call back, I was told to call back again, and when I did call back, I was told there was no pillow left behind in the room. Absolutely awful disregard for people’s belongings, especially since I realised my mistake and called immediately, and yet somehow the pillow vanished into thin air. That pillow cost more than the night’s accommodation. I take full responsibility for leaving it behind, but the motel clearly has no competent system to return guest belongings. Disgraceful. Also, there were wet patches on the carpet and the mattress was uncomfortable.
