Such a great little family-owned motel! Ignore the older photos with dark, dreary interiors, everything is freshly remodeled and so fun! The rooms are somewhat minimalistic yet very comfy. The bed slept great, nice and firm but not too much so. I loved the small fridge with a good-sized freezer. We’d been traveling for several days and the freezer was a blessing. They have a little room with an ice machine and a bottle filler—also appreciated! The bathroom was lovely with a huge sink. The shower was on the smaller size but the tiling was beautiful and water pressure was nice. If I was to make any suggestions, it would be nice to have a little hook for the hand towel because this klutz kept dropping it. Beautiful grounds, nice quiet location. I highly recommend!! (Sorry my photos are as we checked out)

Our family enjoyed this cheerful room for one night on our Four Corners journey just before the new year. We've stayed many places in Durango, and this is one of the better options we have experienced. The new(er) renovations are very well done - and the interior decorating was delightful! Loved the pour-over coffee set up in the kitchenette area, which was surprisingly well stocked. The front desk staff was super friendly and helpful. The only drawback was the street noise, which is expected for many places along the main drag in Durango.

Adorable, fun and clean. My kids loved it. I LOVED their water bottle refill station! Super helpful for us as we traveled across Colorado to see all of the National Parks. Rooms were clean, updated. Couldn’t figure the stove out but we managed just fine. Friendly staff.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at this little Durango gem. We travel with our two dogs and it was pup friendly and a perfect location for them too. The motel has been recently renovated with lots of character and nicely appointed rooms. The rooms themselves were super clean, beds cozy and had everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The motel has tons a cute little details and feels as though it was very thoughtfully curated. They have a nice outdoor seating area to grill, sip your morning coffee or even just hang and get some fresh air. There are bikes available for rental as well and a beautiful river path just across the street. Staff was very friendly and owners gave us some awesome recs for our stay in town. We will be back :) thanks again Siesta!

found this delightful family run motel. Rooms are clean, beds are comfy, showers are great. Fridge , microwave tea/coffee facilities as well as good internet all available. Also a little garden to relax in. Front desk staff and housekeeping were lovely.All in all a great place to stay

Online was a number to text Hannah for any need. We had a prior engagement at the same time as check in. I sent her a text explaining our situation and within minutes she texted me back and was very accommodating. She even texted me that she would be out for a while but our retro vibe room would be ready! Slept well, comfortable beds! Would stay again at this mom and pop motel with the neon cactus sign!

Funky cool hotel. Owners are delightful and accomodating. Rooms are immaculate. Beds are comfy. Newly and thoughtfully renovated. Trolley stop to downtown 1/2 block away. Bikes available for guest use. One block to animas river trail, near supermarket and good eateries. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I really like this motel and so many other mom 'n pop places like it throughout the country. The young couple who own it now (and their staff) are sooo helpful, inviting, and customer service oriented. They were in the process of renovations - getting ready for their busy season. Our room was modern with the same amenities as the chains but wth a super cool retro flair. Even the microwave "looked" like a relic from the 60's. Real kitchy - fun. Shaded courtyard is great for relaxing and even grilling if you want. AND it's mere steps to the trolly stop. Love the Siesta, love the peeps, love Durango. I'll be back.

We stayed in a cute room with a king bed, everything was clean and tidy. The grounds were very nice with flowers blooming and outside sitting areas. The owner was very helpful and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay!
