First of all the rooms are amazing Very spacious apartment, two bedroom, two bathrooms, nice kitchen, nice little living room dining area and then access to the deck. Everything is nearby, walking distance or a quick trip using your car. The staff are amazingly helpful, especially I want to recognize Kelly. She has been amazing with information and all sorts of help not to mention. She's very cute. I really like this location, it's pretty Central. The only thing I think I would add. Is that need a bigger sign showing the property from the road? Sometimes you can miss the entrance to the property. All in all, I'd give it a ten out of ten.You must stay here if you're in el.Salvador

El Xalli is beautiful and very well equipped for relaxing! The front deck with daybeds, pool and bar is amazing! It is not close to the beach and requires driving but we actually found this ideal for a quiet time of rest on our trip. They brought us a few menu ‘test cocktails’ from the bar that were awesome! The staff were very helpful, courteous and so friendly. Alvaro (manager) helped us book a beautiful ocean front property in La Libertad where his wife works that was also incredible!

This place has so much potential but fails to deliver in key areas and when you are paying $150-200 a night, you would expect better. You are left feeling ripped off and over charged at every point of the experience. Overall, the place is well designed, the gardens and pool are nothing short of beautiful (although the pool and garden overlook the main road which is noisy, so it’s not very peaceful). The rooms are spacious, modern and comfy. The staff are also super helpful and friendly, always available for whatever you need. However, there are a few areas that let this place down. Issue #1 - The Restaurant. I knew there was no restaurant onsite, but they can make small dishes (pizza, sandwiches, cheese plates etc) from the bar, or you can order from a full menu from their sister hotel. Unfortunately, on multiple occasions, they did not have the ingredients available for the “on-site snacks” - so you have to order from the sister hotel which was over priced and lackluster food. Burrito was 75% rice for $17. Ceviche was dry and tasteless. Tacos were even worse. Issue #2 - Taxis - They kindly arranged a taxi to pick me up from the airport. However they charged me $65 which I quickly learnt was an over charge. Taxis outside the terminal offered $30-40 and uber was $20. For my journey back to the airport I paid a local taxi $30. Issue #3 - Laundry - was informed that it would be $15 per load. That’s expensive but I needed to have it done. At the end they charged me for two loads (unsure why) - So $30 for a small bag of laundry is now just daylight robbery. (Remember what I said about being over charged at every point of the experience)

The service is amazing the workers are beyond helpful. Especially Alvaro, they were able to accommodate us beyond our expectations. If I could give them 10 stars. I would. Don’t hesitate to book your stay here. The view and food are great. Me and the group I came here with all had an amazing time they go above and beyond to make you feel so comfortable.

This was by far the best, most cleanest place to stay in El Salvador if you want to be by the ocean and away from the crowds. Registration is at the bar and Erick and the staff are the nicest people you'll ever meet. They made us feel so comfortable during our stay. Will definitely come back and stay here when we visit El Salvador again!

Great stay, love the pools the bar where we can buy drinks. The passion fruit margaritas were my favorite. The beds were very comfortable, loved my stay with my family here would love to stay here again. Thank you for a great experience in El Zonte.
