Anthemus Sea Beach Hotel and Spa

Must visit on site Ageo Spa, used gym daily, spa facilitaties, and had massage and facial treatments. Great team including Vasilis, Maria, Stelios and Floreda were always welcoming, pleasant and utterly professional. Must visit if staying at Anthemus, won't be disappointed especially cave room.

We chose this hotel because we always treat ourselves to a massage on the first few days of arrival. After being greeted by the most happy uplifting and helpful manageress we booked ourselves a full body massage. She kindly offered us a free use of the spa facilities and cave pool. Every thing was so clean and quiet and chilled, we had a sauna and steam room with rain experience and finally chilling in the warm waters of the Cave pool. The next day was our massages which did not disappoint. Again professional attention and relaxed us in to our holiday. It was that good we decided to treat ourselves to another on our last day as a special treat. Again, it was relaxing and the perfect pressure to send me into a relaxed state of bliss. They offered the spa facilities again, if we had the time, we would of accepted however dinner was upon us. We thoroughly recommend a massage at this beautiful hotel.

We had a fantastic week staying here. The staff were excellent and very attentive. Our flight was delayed, so we arrived at the hotel about 1am. The team were very kind and offered us a welcome drink, and then gave us a tour of the hotel site tour. As we had arrived late, we were also given a meal voucher which we could use at the Tavern which was very kind too, we did not expect this. The hotel room was very nice, and well looked after. We were very surprised that after our first 2 nights that the reception team contacted us and said that there was an issue with our air conditioning. They had tried to fix it, but needed to wait for a part to arrive. They very kindly offered to move rooms for us, and gave us an upgrade to a suite which was wonderful. It had a great view on to the beach. A lovely touch that they also gave us a bottle of wine. The small touches made the difference. The beach is great and well looked after. The hotel pools are also great too, and very relaxing. The food was good, and a lot of choice available at the main restaurant. On our final evening we ate at the rooftop restaurant and this was great. The service provided to us by Aitea was excellent, and she deserves a special mention for looking after us so well. We can’t wait to visit again!

Very nice resort and clean. Very good for anybody who is looking for relaxation. Very nice and friendly staf. Try the tavern restaurant, it’s very good. Wonderful beach & water - perfect for swimming. A special mention for the lady from Spa (Mrs. Florența) and her team.

Overall, we had a pleasant experience with some notable highlights and a few disappointments. **Pros:** The hotel itself is lovely, offering clean, sandy beaches that were a joy to relax on. The food provided was of good quality, and the staff across the board were friendly and welcoming. A special mention goes to the spa; thanks to Florenta, the Spa Manager, and her colleagues, Spina and Maria. Their professionalism and warm demeanor made our spa experience relaxing and enjoyable. The on-site tavern was another bright spot. The food was delicious, and Isabella, who works there, was incredibly friendly and helpful. She truly enhanced our dining experience with her cheerful and accommodating nature. **Cons:** Unfortunately, our experience with the reception staff was less than satisfactory. Upon arrival, we were assigned two rooms that did not meet the standards we had paid for; instead of the sea and garden view rooms we expected, we were given rooms on the first floor with a view of a wall. Despite being informed that these rooms were of a higher standard due to their larger size, this was not what we had requested or wanted. It took four days of persistent negotiation before we were finally moved to the rooms we had originally booked. This situation caused significant stress and inconvenience, taking time away from what should have been a restful vacation. To add to our frustration, when we requested a late checkout as compensation for the inconvenience, we were only allowed to extend one room until 12 p.m., while the other had to be vacated by 11 a.m. Would we recommend the hotel? Yes, but with a caveat to ensure that your room specifications are confirmed in advance to avoid similar issues.

Everything was absolutely magical and super relaxing! That’s the best massage experience that I ever had in my life! Huge thanks to my therapy specialist – Despina! She’s an excellent master! And also the massage room is nicely equipped and decorated! So, I can give all 100 stars out of 10! :) Wish I could live in that spa salon!
