We stayed at Siebkens resort the nights of July 21st & 22nd. There were 6 of us. My husband & me, and my 2 brothers and their wives. We stayed in the Elm Street Hotel and each couple had their own room. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, every one of the staff members was wonderful. I've never been to a business before where every single employee is so polite. We all arrived between noon & 1:30 and at 1:30 all of our rooms were ready. The Elm Street Hotel is an old historic building, but the rooms were very nice. The beds were especially comfortable with very nice bedding. Our rooms all had a mini-fridge, which was very convenient. All of the people working at the lobby desk were very nice. Monday morning, after having only stayed one night, my brother wasn't feeling well and wanted to go home. He assumed they would not get a refund, but when checking out & explaining the situation, they were given a refund for the 2nd night. I was amazed at that! We went into the bar (Just Stop-Inn) a couple times and there were 2 different bartenders that waited on us. I wish I had their names. They were both very young, and so pleasant. The food at the bar was very good also. There is another restaurant at the resort called P.A.M.'s, but we did not eat there. There are a lot of nice areas to sit & relax outside, also a nice pool area with a hot tub. They provide pool towels, which is very nice and also have small bags of ice available at no charge. The location of Siebkens resort is great. It's just a short walk to The Shore Club, where you can go to the Tiki Bar for food, drinks and live music. Also, a short walk to The Osthoff, where there are restaurants and live music as well. There are also several other restaurants within walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay and will go back again next year!
