My husband & I and friends stayed here twice in January, before and after a Safari in Tanzania. On our first visit arriving at 5 AM I was wondering if I had made a mistake as the area approaching the Oasis was a little sketchy. However upon arriving at our destination, we found a true oasis. Stainer the owner & his staff were so welcoming. It was like relaxing in a friend’s backyard. Our first room was small but very comfortable but upon returning, we were given a large house to accommodate us all. We only had breakfast here but relaxed in the evening for drinks outside. We were thrilled with the kindness and graciousness of our host, picking up one of our group in Kampala & transporting us to and from the airport. This truly was the place we needed to relax after a long air flight and the to unwind again after our exhausting safari. Thank you Stainer & special thanks to Mary.

Oslo Gardens is an absolutely beautiful place all the way down to Lake Victoria with such good and nice people who work there. You feel like one of the "family" as soon as you get there. The place is quiet, and you really get to relax and recharge your batteries. If you need help with something, everyone pitches in. A nice place as a base for excursions, hiking and birdwatching. Recommend tasting the host's ginger tea. I will definitely stay here next time I come to Uganda

I will really recommend this beautiful place to everyone who wants to feel the breeze from the lake in a superb environment. Beautiful garden, magnificent view over the lake, clean rooms, very friendly and helpful staff and nice food. What more can you ask for?
