Residence Inn Amelia Island

This place smelled so good when we arrive the lobby and front desk clerk were so friendly and professional. Our bills was spotless......we loved the pool area and talking to the other guests....downtown was beautiful, full of tourists spending money......

The hotel is perfect! I am very well traveled and very critical and couldn’t find one fault. The hotel was very clean The room spacious and beautiful. Great facilities, breakfast, service! Every employee was kind and caring I can’t wait to go back!

The staff is professional, friendly, knowledgeable about the area and accommodating! The room was larger than I expected, comfy bed, and I felt like a home away from home. BTW, the lobby and meeting rooms are REMODELED---the main pics on this page are outdated. The hotel now has a BRIGHT beachy palette! Jeremey and their chef are WONDERFUL and Tiffany, the events manager made our event...MEMORABLE!

Shout out to the staff at this property! 4 days here and it was great from the minute we arrived. Thank you Dawn for a warm welcome. Thank you Jeremy for great breakfasts each morning and Zach for keeping this clean & sanitary. Thank you Aaron for your shuttle services around the island. Thank you Makayla (sp?) for your help with the bikes and Sean for your help with towels in the exercise room. The lobby, breakfast area & pool area remodel is nice! Look forward to visiting again & enjoying the updated rooms. Thanks one & all for your hospitality. We appreciate you & enjoyed your service.

Stayed here a second time in August of 2024 while en route to Tampa for cruise that we never made. Stupid Hurricane Debby. Great hotel. Friendly staff, clean, quiet, conveniently located. Pool, nice breakfast. I will probably stay here the next time I am in Amelia Island.

Four gals from 3 different states who've known each other since 6th grade go to Amelia Island for a long weekend! From the moment we arrived, we were treated like old friends who had come for a visit. Latanya & Robyn at the front desk were so helpful and friendly and made us laugh out loud! Bob, the General Manager, came out to see who was making all the noise and he was extremely kind as well. We asked for a shuttle to get some "provisions" for our suites (IYKYK) and Justin, Director of Sales, offered to drive us to the local Publix. He told us about the area and made some great suggestions where to eat & drink when we went "downtown". Our first morning there, the hotel was celebrating its grand reopening of their breakfast area and champagne was handed out to those who wished to toast (we did!) And that is when we met Jeremy, if I have any advice to you fellow travelers, ask for Jeremy, he is a GEM! Also there is a lovely man that works breakfast as well named Zach who is never without a smile! The suites are so spacious and the fact that we had a full size fridge for our "provisions" really mattered! There was also a couch, chairs and dining table. We had a blast!! When we headed out to the pool, we met Sean from housekeeping, he asked how our stay was going and was genuinely interested in knowing if he could do anything to make it better (he couldn't, we loved it!) The afternoon we went "downtown" Aaron was our shuttle driver. Poor guy, imagine dealing with 4 cackling ladies who think they're still in their 20's!! I can't say enough great things about this hotel and we definitely intend to come back!!!

Awesome location with an easy walk to the beach. Very friendly staff. Rooms were comfortable and clean. They were renovating still but it wasn’t a problem. The air conditioner is also a bit noisy so if you’re a light sleeper that might bother you.

Amelia Island was our first stop on a five day road trip from Florida to DC. The hotel was recommended by Tripadvisor who usually do a good job. The staff was very friendly upon check in and even upgraded us to a beautiful One Room Suite which was roomy, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The receptionist recommended a restaurant for dinner which turned out to be great (Thanks!!). The only reason i gave the hotel "Very Good" and not "Excellent2 is that breakfast was nothing to write home about. Other than that - Lovely Hotel!!

First, be aware that this hotel is under renovation and it tells you in the fine print but I did not see it! It was not noisy or messy but things were out of order. The project is in the lobby area so the breakfast area was in what looks like a conference room. The breakfast itself was not great! They seemed to be out of a lot of things! This was just an overnight visit for us, on the way to Savannah for a wedding, so it was okay but the room did need some updating and smelled a little musty! We probably won't be back!
