Hotel Loar Ferreries

We only had the one night here as it was one of several hotels we used on the Cami de Cavalls which is a walking tour of the whole island First impressions were very good.. modern bright and airy and check-in was completed quickly with no fuss with a very nice receptionist who explained the hotel facilities such as the two swimming pools and how breakfast worked We had a studio apartment which was fine but may have proved a little cramped if staying for a week or two.. it was all spotlessly clean and a good standard The bathroom was the same, with the shower actually turning out to be the best so far. We did use the indoor pool which was fine so didn’t see the rooftop one as it was raining that day. Whilst we both agreed the apartment was lovely, as was the comfy bed, neither of us slept well due to the general noise going on throughout the night. This wasn’t helped with laminated floors in the corridors or the sizeable gap around the room door meaning any sound went straight through it. Breakfast was…. Ok , which is fine but suspect most may make their own if staying here a while.. we also ate in the bar for our evening meal which was good and fantastic value for money

This hotel is very centrally located on the island, making it especially desirable if renting a car and wanting to explore each region of the island as we did. With just a 10-30 minute drive you can easily access pretty much anywhere on the island. Parking was only available on side streets, but fairly easy to figure out and convenient. Bus service runs through town for those who don’t have access to a car. We stayed in a studio apartment (#103) which made our three week stay especially pleasant. The twin beds were adequate, though perhaps a bit on the hard side. The balcony overlooked an inner courtyard area with a view of the hills in the distance. The kitchen was fully equipped with dishes, pots and pans, cutlery, dish soap, cloths and more. The fridge/freezer worked great and allowed us to be prepared with frozen water bottles prior to each of our beach days and hiking treks. The bathroom was beautifully remodelled. Housekeeping staff kept the room impeccably clean and tidy each and every day. The rooftop pool and jacuzzi were lovely, with a spectacular view of the town and surrounding hills. Tables and loungers were available for use. The reception desk staff were all very friendly and helpful. Thank you to Maria Angeles, Fabian and Deri for your hospitality. They certainly set the tone for our stay with their friendly greetings upon our comings and goings and tourist tips. We were especially grateful to Deri (one of the owners) who graciously accommodated our late request for visiting friends to have a suite near us for their time with us. We ate a few times at the attached bar restaurant. Prices were very reasonable, with generous portions of delicious food. One of our favorite parts of this location was the opportunity to be at the center of a real town community rather than the seasonal tourist towns. Just steps away from the hotel was the town square with surrounding shops and restaurants, live music and dancing, a gelato shop and pastesserie. It was a unique and joyous experience to be able to soak in a different community and culture. We would not hesitate to return and we would highly recommend this hotel and location, especially to those who rent a car and want to explore. Loar Ferreries is a wonderful “home base” while on holidays!

verificato e prenotato on line durante l'inverno ; si è rivelata un'ottima scelta come punto di partenza dei ns tours quotidiani alla scoperta dell'isola. disponevamo di un piccolo appartamentino con 3 posti letto, bagno , salottino , cucina e anche terrazzo ! Location molto pulita , ristrutturata da qualche anno. Arredamento minimal ma perfetto per una location di mare. Colazione buona nel bar a piano terra. Abbiamo anche cenato una sera al loro ristorante, ma consiglio di optare per altre soluzioni. per il resto super consigliato .. per i servizi offerti e per il prezzo contenuto ! se dovessi tornare non avrei dubbi per prenotare qui

Apartamento correcto, las zonas comunes están muy bien y muy modernas, el apsrtame to a pesar de que se ha reformado se han quedado cosas bastante antiguas. Esta limpio y es cómodo. A pesar de que el personal de cafetería es atento, el desayuno es flojito. La atención en recepción es muy buena. No sé si es por la temporada pero es muy tranquilo

Hotel bellissimo e accogliente così come il personale, camere pulite e grandi, posizione strategica per girare tutta l’isola! Unica pecca è trovare il parcheggio nel paesino visto che l'hotel non ne è dotato

Muy buen hotel para pasar unos dias en la isla. A 18 minutos de Ciutadella y a escasos 10 minutos de Cala Galdana, Mitjana y Es Mitjorn Gran. Servicio de taquillas con reserva anticipada de duchas (si haces el chek in antes o ckek out más tarde). El personal muy amable y preparan un picnick por 6€ que consta de bocadillo, bebida y fruta, ideal para pasar el dia en la playa. La piscina y el jacuzzi le dan un toque muy positivo al hotel.
