First of all I was charged a $15 fee for having our dog with us even though no where on the website does it say there is a fee. When I explained that she said it's right here on the window we'll I booked this on line 81/2 hour drive from them in my home in ohio how am I suppose to see that? Also our check in time was 3PM we arrived at 2pm after coming from another hotel and was told our room was ready but it would cost another $15 fee to check in early. So I am at $ 30 in extra fees .needless to say I did not check in early. Our room was filthy. The water in the shower never turned off that was the 1st thing we heard when we walked into our room. The ice bucket was unusable it had black spots in it and they had no idea what I was talking about when asked about a liner for it. But that didn't matter because the ice machine itself was disgusting. In Ohio we have a board of health to complain to not sure what agency is in Tennessee but whatever it is needs to go to this hotel. We did not sleep under the covers and made sure there were no bugs crawling anywhere. We went to our event came back to this hotel tried to rest for a few hours before heading home. I have never been to a hotel this bad in my life. It is not worth the money. I paid on line $60 and had to pay an additional $15 for our small dog. Total of $75 it wasn't worth $10. We stay at another hotel called Days Inn Wyndham in Cookeville Tennessee for $60 and didn't have to pay a fee for the dog this hotel I would stay at again. I will never stay at Amarica Best Inn Franklin. The room next to us had an alarm going off at 12:30 am we asked at the front desk if the could check on them and turn the alarm off ,they said yes someone was in the room but would not check on them so my son knocked on the door that woke them up and the alarm was turned off. Needless to say we didn't eat or drink anything at this hotel. We actually walked over to the gas station to get drinks. When checking out I asked for a receipt they told me i had one from booking on line thats correct but I don't have one for the additional charge was told they would send it in 24 to 48 hrs to my email thats not acceptable they refused to give me one . Iam checking my email and praying they have not screwed me. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL AT ALL
