The place was impeccable and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with good variety to suit everyone. The grounds and location couldn't be nicer if you just want to relax. Not a whole lot of commerce or restaurants around. There was a big supermarket a 5 minute drive away.
My only issue was with the front desk not being open after a certain time, it said to call the hotell if arriving after 16.00 so we arrived earlier hoping to check in and go out to enjoy the day, but the guy at the front desk couldn't check us in before 15.00, so... you're supposed to arrive between 15.00 and 16.00?! That's not very convenient if you want to do something a little further away. Anyway, it worked out but I thought this was inconvenient.

We had an excellent apar**ent which was well appointed and very spacious. It would have been nice to use the terrace outside for relaxation, but unfortunately there were substantial renovation works going on right outside, creating not only an eyesore of builders’ materials and large mechanical diggers etc, but also some very noisy periods, starting early in the morning except at the weekend. To be fair the property did email us about these works but only the day before we were due to arrive. We decided to cut our stay by two days. The property has a large outdoor area, mainly grass with a few small bits of beach, theoretically very pleasant. But this area is not exclusive to residents. When the sun came out so did many hundreds of local people and maybe holidaymakers staying elsewhere. The car park became almost impossible to use. This was not something we expected and it detracted further from what might have been a relaxing holiday.

We were three adults and three kids under 10 staying in one of the lodges. They were more spacious than expected and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything you might need for a stay. We couldn’t figure out the aircon so it was a bit warm. The pool was being renovated during our stay (which the hotel had communicated to us on several occasions before the stay, which was great to know). It looked like it’d be a great addition though! The property itself is nice with beautiful views and nice amenities such as an outdoor gym and free of charge mini golf, but messy, there was trash left in the grass. Not sure if all the regular staff was on vacation but all employees we interacted with seemed like it was their first day at the job, which meant we were often left waiting for them to check things or things just moved slow. Overall a lovely stay with kids though and I would recommend on hot summer days once the pool is up and running!

The staff made it easy to do remote check in -we had no questions - really well looked after unit and having two full bathrooms makes it easy for a family to coordinate!

Very well laid-out, spacious apar**ent, in great condition, with all mod cons. Excellent proactive comms from hotel team. Stayed one night in winter but would happily come back, for longer. Thoroughly recommended.
