Conti di San Bonifacio Wine Resort - Vineyard Hotel in Tuscany

What an amazing resort! Stunning view of the Tuscan hills all while enjoying incredible food and wine. But what really stood out was the best customer service I have ever experienced. The team at Conti di San Bonifacio strive to ensure your experience is memorable from start to finish! I had forgotten my allergy medicine and was pretty uncomfortable the one day from all the trees and the next day one of the staff delivered allergy medicine to my room! It was so incredibly thoughtful and simply have never experienced that level of customer service.

In February 2023, we booked a 2 week visit to Tuscany and timing was all based around 3 nights at this resort for our 40th anniversary. Once this was booked, we planned the rest of our trip. Our visit was scheduled at the end of September and was prepaid and I had numerous confirmations. THREE days before our expected arrival date at the end of SEPTEMBER, I get a call that they booked the wrong dates and they cannot accommodate us. Huh?! They rebooked us elsewhere no where near where they are and in a resort that I would never have selected. All I was told was that they had an event and couldn’t accommodate us. Really? This is what a 5 star luxury resort does? I think perhaps someone offered them lots of money for their event! Totally unacceptable in any location in the world. They offered a voucher for a future stay….really? No offer of air fare to travel back to them.

Choosing Conti di San Bonifacio for our wedding weekend location is the best choice I could have made! The Villa & the grounds are absolutely stunning. Truly picturesque and magical. The CDSB is what made it the best weekend for us. Daria, Maria, Luisa and the rest of the staff made my family and I feel completely at home during our stay. No request was too big and they always did their best to provide us with whatever we were asking! Working with Daria during wedding planning was a pleasure. Our wedding was perfect and we could not have been happier with how the whole evening went. Chef Armando is AMAZING and every meal we had was fantastic. I truly can’t say enough good things about our experience here. It was the wedding of my dreams, so huge thank you to the staff as they made it all possible. We will definitely be back and will tell everyone about Conti!

Celebrating our wedding weekend with our friends and family at CDSB was truly a dream come true! The location, the view and the design are insanely gorgeous. There nothing much else you need to create the perfect setting. But the real gem of CDSB is the team. Maria, Daria, Oscar, Katie, Armando en the rest of the entire staff were the ones who made sure we and all our guests had a weekend to never forgot! They took care of everyone, were so welcoming and friendly (even at 6 a.m. when we were still dancing and they were serving final rounds!!) They went out of our ways to make our ideas happen, even if it was a challenge for them. If you are looking for a wedding location, look no further!! The absolute best. We can’t wait the be back as ‘normal’ guest and relive it all again. Again, grazie mille dear team!

Gorgeous!!! The location is in a quiet area in the Tuscan hills. The property is perfect with every amenity that you would need, including a swimming pool that overlooks Olive groves and vineyards. There was always a nice breeze and the staff was so helpful and kind. My friend and I each did the tasting menu for dinner and the food was five star. I highly recommend if you are looking for an escape Near Florence this is the perfect place to go.

Our stay at Conti di San Bonifacio for our honeymoon was nothing short of magical. The hospitality was exquisite, from the moment we arrived, until the moment we checked out. The staff were wonderful, and catered to our every need, invariably with a smile on their face. The room we stayed in was perfect; spacious, spotless, beautifully designed and decorated, with a breathtaking view out across the vineyards. The food was divine; the head chef created dishes using locally sourced ingredients that typified the region’s cuisine, and left us amazed with every single course. We did the wine-tasting course with Andrea, who was an extremely knowledgeable and fun host for what was an unforgettable day. We got to try the full range of San Bonifacio wines and prosecco, and had a tour around the vineyard, with a glimpse into the behind-the-scenes of how the magic is made. Our personal favourite was the international-award winning Syrah, which is a must try whenever you can get your hands on it! We visited CDSB to view the resort as a potential venue for our wedding next year. In the lead up to our visit, Daria, our host, was excellent via email in making complete preparations for our visit. Upon arriving, we were greeted with a glass of Prosecco and immediately we felt at home in the resort. Daria and her team are extremely accommodating and hospitable and provided us with excellent service. The food and drink was delicious, the room was spacious and impeccably clean. It was all the little details that made our experience so enjoyable and special. Daria and her team literally thought of everything. CDSB is a beautiful resort and we cannot wait to host our wedding there next year!

Conti Di San Bonifacio is a magical resort. I’m a solo traveler and typically do extensive research on the resorts I stay at as I did with Conti. However, I didn’t realize it was primarily for couples w/only 7 rooms. Initially, I was disappointed but after speaking with Maria who I had been communicating with months before, she and her team went above and beyond to make my stay a memorable one. From the suite overlooking the Tuscan winery (so beautiful and peaceful) to the in-room massage to relax me to their winery tour and tasting with their Sommelier, Andrea. Which I did with another couple and had an amazing time. Andrea was extremely informative and entertaining. Then Maria scheduled a food & wine pairing dinner with the same couple and Andrea’s Assistant, Oscar who was just as professional. It was an amazing day. The next day I had a Bolgheri winery tour scheduled. To my surprise, Katy who had graduated college and new to the resort asked if she could accompany me to ensure the day was perfect. Katy was a pleasure to be with and she made every effort that each winery experience was a magnificent one … and they were. That night I had a dinner at the resort that Oscar planned for me and it was fabulous. The food was amazing. My last morning, Maria planned a horseback ride through the forest and beach that was fantastic. She had to find another company since it rained the day before. A fantastic way to end my visit. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a more memorable visit. Maria and her team changed my initial impression of the resort to one of the best experiences I had during my 12 day trip to Italy. It’s a magical resort with spectacular views and wonderful caring people. I highly recommend this resort.

Be ready to be delighted as the large private gates open to this beautiful villa - in a world of its own over looking vineyards and distant mountains. The infinity pool and sumptuous lounges, open fires and stunning views bring peace and quiet to an otherwise hectic trip in Europe. Add in the personable service, incredible chef meals and candlelit ambience and you are all set to relax. And we played a lot of rummy. We left feeling rejuvenated and ready to tackle the next leg of our trip. Highly recommended for those seeking solace and great food in the middle of Tuscany.
