Red Roof Inn Georgetown, IN – Louisville West

When we arrived we were greeted with an attitude by the man at the desk! If I had not already paid we would have stayed somewhere else! No breakfast snack ( continental breakfast) no fruit coffee only. We were short towels and wash clothes in our room….more attitude from the man working the front desk! Room was clean, and we did not ask for anything else! They did have one info sheet posted on the wall of local food business.

I made reservation for July 11th. When I arrived at the desk, the host informed me, loudly (the lobby was full of people) that my reservation was made for the 10th and I was a no-show. Also, there were no rooms available. My mother had just passed away and we came from out of town for her funeral. I was so upset and just left. He could have handled this a little more respectful. I will never return nor recommend this place.

Lack of clean disturbed me. When I walked into my room on 2nd floor last week Thursday. I saw Public hairs in the in my room in shower and soap scum all the top of toilet and mirror was streaky too and checked it under black light omg there was pop stains under the toilet seat n outside of toilet. I had them clean it up before coming into the room. They wiped all 3 thjngs on one rag it’s crossed contaminated the bathroom as a hole. Can’t see when done omg I can see in the backlight showing the cleaner no there cares. They set in other room same thing.also each room was loaded with dust. I could not get a refund . So I do what any normal person would do is go out get rags n some rejonate on shower and glass cleaner aka windex. And some sc Jonson funture polish proceeded to clean the room my room myself next day they came in did the same thing again. This time I toild the owner what has happened and show them all the things wrong. I am so pissed that no there cares.

Professional and friendly staff... lobby is welcoming. The good... the facility and rooms are clean. Huge positive! The ease of getting to the rooms and room service were excellent. Check-in and Check-out were easy. However, the bad, our stay on the third floor was met with a powerful smell of curry all week long. It was so overbearing at times it permeated the rooms and was nauseating. The beds are firm, too firm for us, but may work for others. The pillows were hard... the beds had three square pillows on them that were either flat or firm. No head support whatsoever. Perhaps the most uncomfortable aspect was the air conditioning or lack thereof. It created a humid atmosphere where the sheets and even our clothes felt damp. Needless to say, we did not sleep any of the nights. Between the humidity, firm bed, flat pillows, and even the parking lot light that come through the windows... it was not a comfortable stay. They have darkening shades, but they have nothing blocking the top of the blinds as it sits out away from the window and therefore allow for lots of light in the room still. Not bad during the day, but at night your room is pretty lit up.

We travel 2-3 times a month to Agility dog shows. Three to five per year are in New Albany, IN. Because we bring our pets, we need a safe, convenient, clean hotel to stay. We used to stay in Clarksville, but the frequent one became more and more run down, and the others in that area tried to be more "upscale" (expensive, but without the benefits). A friend tipped us off to this Red Roof a few years ago, and we have been back ever since. The staff is very polite and helpful. The facility is well maintained. There are ample areas to walk our dogs. There are reasonable priced restaurants in a short drive. And the word has gotten out because we see more and more dog show friends here.

Very friendly down home welcome. Very clean see them cleaning with a great hi how are you, everything is mopped floors and new fluffy pillows and fresh sheets. Gorgeous country setting with farm field on one side and McDonald's on other side and country grocery store on corner and pizza country kitchen on other corner. Plus outside pool in season.

This Red Roof Inn was great! The room was clean and the whole motel was well cared for inside and out. Ethan at the front desk was wonderful and very helpful with whatever we needed. There were nice grassy areas to walk our dogs and we love that they allow dogs to stay free. 🐾🐾 The bed and pillows were quite comfortable as well. We have been traveling across the country and have had some less than great experiences at some of our other motel stops. This Red Roof Inn was a very pleasant stop for these weary travelers! I was struggling to find a motel with decent reviews in another area. We actually changed our route to try this motel because of other great reviews. We were so glad we did! Highly recommend!!

Had to leave 2 hours after checking in due too room having a terrible mold smell. My spouse had breathing issues due to it being so bad. Rooms and facility were OK other than that. No partial refund was offered. Also no other room was offered. Wouldn't suggest going here.

Awesome customer service and staff was continually cleaning facilities. Great value for low price. I was continually needing accommodations for visiting my mother at Guerin Woods. Locally placed, I was three minutes away
