Normally all Hampton inn locations are amazing and there is never anything to complain about. This time was different. The staff running this hotel really disappointed me. I'll start off by saying that whoever was running the breakfast area between the 24th through the 30th of December 2023 did a terrible job. Almost everyday we would have to wait forever for food to be restocked, we had to ask them 3 times for more eggs because the other 2 times they got distracted talking to each other. The 3rd time they finally brought more out. That's a specific example, but every day was a lack of keeping up on breakfast simple needs, the younger guy had an attitude of not wanting to be there, and he was just wearing his street cloths and had headphones in each day, this look is not appealing and makes me want to check out and go somewhere else that isn't unwelcoming. That guy also was doing nothing most of the time, when things needed to be restocked, one morning he was brining a plate of food to the front desk instead of restocking the muffins that were empty for 15 minutes, keep in mind that it was only 8:30am when they serve breakfast till 10:00am. When asked if they had more muffins he finally went back and restocked them... This is something they shouldn't have to ask for, they should be on-top of this, instead they are providing food for the other staff or walking around doing nothing talking to the other coworkers. This guy especially made me mad, because he was sitting in back doing nothing while the other lady was doing most the work. (The door to the kitchen was wide open and you could easily see him from the waffle maker thing) The other lady running the breakfast area was nice and friendly and actually had a uniform on, and was kind of doing her job, One day we were at breakfast and the younger guy was cleaning and broke vase, glass went everywhere, and he still had a 0 care in the world look- like he hates his job. When it comes to the other staff, 2 younger people, one teenager looking kid and a younger girl, were apparently working also, I don't know what they did but they were smoking outside right near our rental car and it wasn't really appealing. We new they were working there because a few days later we saw them again inside holding cleaning supplies', yet again not wearing any appropriate clothing to symbolize the Hampton inn brand. They also looked like they didn't want to be there. Only people that actually made us feel welcome and were doing there job were, the front desk people, and the house keeping. To summarize our stay, Our room was very clean and the hotel is in a good location, however most of the staff that we saw during our stay was below par, and needs to be addressed soon. I know this specific hotel can do better. I stay in Hamptons all around the USA and I know that they can do better. Maybe retraining can fix this issue, maybe a manger that regulates what's going on, or some staff that does their job and makes you feel
