Absolutely perfect in every way. Credit to the staff team, they are an absolute joy. Nothing is too much trouble. Beautiful surroundings, delicious food, diverse range of activities to partake in. Definitely recommended, we shall certainly be visiting again!

This is a luxury destination. A beautiful castle on beautiful grounds. Many activities are offered (we chose the falconry interaction experience which I highly recommend.) Very friendly staff and great meals in a top notch restaurant. However, Glen App Castle is not perfect. It is located in a beautiful, isolated location. (You can judge if that is a plus or minus). The restaurant is great but a casual option may be appriciated. Put it all together and you will be happy here. Go.

My husband and I spent a day and night at Glenapp Castle in May of this year during a road trip around Scotland and England. Our room was elegant and so beautiful! We received printed menus, addressed to us specifically for the evening appetizers and meal. I know today with technology that isn't hard to accomplish, but Glenapp took the time and effort to do it! Our meal was excellent and the service was outstanding. I am allergic to mollusks which were on the evening menu. Our waitstaff stated if they had known they would have changed the menu!! All of the staff were warm and friendly and made our stay so enjoyable. This was our favorite stay for our entire trip. I highly recommend Glenapp Castle!

The castle is gorgeous, in a beautiful setting. It is grand without being overwhelming. Our room (which was towards the bottom end of the price scale) was huge, very quiet and extremely comfortable - very comfy bed, great bath/shower and a nice seating area. The public areas are also very comfortable. Some of the service was very slick, especially check in and housekeeping (the room was serviced twice a day but we never saw a sign of housekeeping). Some was a bit less so, but always smiling, friendly and willing; many of the staff were young and probably at the beginning of their hospitality careers (well done to Glen App for giving young people a chance), This made for a relaxed, homely atmosphere which was very welcoming. The food was excellent, at dinner, lunch and breakfast. All in all, it was a memorable and very enjoyable stay. We would be happy to return.

Arrival was impressive, with attentive staff and a beautiful surrounding. The rooms were beautiful, clean and sumptuous and comfy. The staff were excellent, young and eager and perfectly mannered. The food was just perfect, and the atmosphere was beautiful all round. The gardens a delight and overall, a perfect getaway.

My wife and myself celebrated our golden wedding anniversary with a stay at Glenapp and I must say we had a fantastic stay the castle is beautiful as are the gardens and grounds we were blessed with some fantastic weather for Septemberthe bedroom was huge as was the bed we had the gourmet dinner in the castle dining room served by a couple of charming young girls one from Melbourne Australia and the other from Florida USA all in all a very memorable anniversary Thanks Glenapp

Beautiful hotel lives up to its reputation. The staff were wonderful, the rooms were so comfortable and quiet, the food was excellent. We had a great experiences, the most peaceful walk in the Glen. They have a garden that was designed by the same person who designed Balmoral just stunning. Awesome memories.

We stayed for three nights at the end of a camper van tour of Scotland in order to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The hotel and grounds are lovely, the moment you drive in and the team come out to greet you, to the comfy rooms, the friendliness of the whole team and the comfort of the public areas, the whole experience is amazing. There are loads of activities available or, like us, you can sit in the sun, take in the fantastic gardens and enjoy the view (and coffee). There's enough space in the grounds to run and loads of walking routes around.
