EasyHotel Glasgow

I only used this hotel for a few hours to get some sleep on a flying visit to the city, however I found it to be comfortable, spotlessly clean and friendly, even when I checked in at 4am! The bathroom was a bit small for a 6ft 3in person like me, but perfectly fine for the situation and what you pay for. Parking was just across the street and a good breakfast was a minutes walk. Couldn’t ask for more really!

Great place to stay even for one night if you have had last minute plans or something has happened wild definitely recommend this stay to anyone if they are ever in need of a last minute place to stay

Normal and comfortable for 2 people staying in this hotel. Staff was helpful and genuine.

The heater stopped working after few hours and never got back again. Everything else was fine, I stayed in a twin room with a window. Room and sheets were very clean,bed was comfortable.

The room was a good size for how much it was, it’s a budget hotel but it’s decent.

Great location, room is small but good for one night

We stayed at the Easy Hotel twice within the space of a week, I booked both stays before I'd went to the first one... I regret that decision. In fairness the first stay, the room we booked was about £32 as it was a week day. It was the cheapest available that was within the Glasgow city centre area. So it got a thumbs up for being the cheapest, however the rooms are tiny. We got a room with a window both times, genuinely I think without the window you'd feel claustrophobic. I tried booking direct with easyHotel but their site just crashes at the payment page, which was useless as I had signed up for their free in house discount service. Which allows an extra hour in bed before check out - so 11am instead of 10am. Plus it allows for a slightly cheaper rate when booking rooms. I even phoned the hotel to advise that I couldn't book online, they said they don't do bookings over the phone and advised to go via a third party site as it tends to be cheaper. In this instance, going direct was the cheapest - so i missed out on that & went via Trip.com as it was the 2nd cheapest option. The 2nd time we went within the same week, the hotel was was maybe £20 cheaper than everywhere else as it was a Saturday night booking so it came to about £95. I'd have rather have spent that wee bit extra to get the Premier Inn or something. The double room was that small that you needed to crawl over the bed to get to the other side as there isn't enough room to walk around the bottom of the bed. The bathroom is essentially a wet room the size of an airplane toilet. The cleanliness wasn't great the both times we went. Stains on the bedroom walls, grime in the bathroom that hasn't been cleaned in who knows how long. The stains on the floor on the way to the room wasn't a good look either. The staff at the hotel were nice, we weren't bothered by other people also staying there, so if you're literally looking for somewhere to stay the night & don't plan in spending long in your hotel room - then go for it. If you like more space than the 3 paces you have into the room to get to the bed & a bathroom you can walk around in - then pass on this place. Classic case of cheaper isn't always better.
