Peter and Chelsea (hotel owners with byrd hotels) I have had the pleasure of staying at your hotel during the past few days/nights and will complete my 5 night stay on Tues 3/21. During my stay, and given that I live in the Central Time Zone, I have been up very early (usually 400 am MST) and working in the breakfast area. As a result, I have had the opportunity to observe two of your employees in an up-close fashion. I want you to know how impressed I am with these two employees: Akeem - is your night manager and night auditor. His professionalism, customer service attitude, energy, commitment, and attention to detail, in my opinion, has been outstanding. I offer this opinion after observing him for three very early mornings and observing that is much more “present” than any other night manager I have ever observed. As a 69 year old with 45 years of business travel experience, I have a significant data base to make comparisons. My recommendation would be that you do all you can to continue to retain Akeem as an employee of your hotel. He’s a significant asset to this operation. Angie - is the lady that leads the effort to put out breakfast every morning for all your guests. She is humble, service oriented, attentive to ensuring that each of the breakfast stations are fully stocked. She arrives on time, and is always ready to open the breakfast for guests, matching the hotel’s commitment to its guests. The quality of the items available for breakfast are always of good quality and served hot for the guests. This is not the case in many of the hotels where I stay. Like Akeem, I would strongly recommend that you do all you can to continue to retain Angie as an employee of your hotel. She is a significant asset to this operation.
