Extremely clean and comfortable room! A very spacious room that contained a comfortable double/queen bed as well as a single bed AND a small table and 2 chairs. The bathroom had thick fluffy towels and was newly refurbished with a large shower head, great water pressure and toiletries provided. It was a cold night when we arrived but the heating unit warmed the room really quickly and was so quiet. Extras provided included an iron and ironing board, really helpful information folder and great device-charging unit to plug multiple devices into. Staff member at Reception was so friendly, welcoming and helpful - a very homely atmosphere and experience all round! A bonus is the bakery next door - Trappers. Opens at 5.30 am and has a huge range of food and beautiful coffees for travellers like us. We had an early breakfast in front of their open fire before continuing with our travelling. Would definitely recommend staying at Bakehouse Motel - and would definitely stay here again. L.P.

Lovely big room (No. 20), quite comfortable, good shower and well equipped. New managers were very friendly and just settling in. Lovely bakery (Trappers) on site and plenty of other eating places nearby. Price a little bit dearer than some on our travels. The only suggestion I have is that the towels be upgraded as they were very on the thin size. Very easy to get to and also very easy to get back on the highway when leaving.

wow we loved this motel. the room was just lovely clean and very comfortable the beds great. The best part of all there was a bakery attached to teh motel so in the morning we just walk out your room and across the courtyard and into the bakery. it opens at 5am each morning. the choice of things to eat in there was so delicious. we would definitely stay there again. The big Ram is across the road and a service station and the soverneir shop i think it was called merino gift shop.

Very spacious room, king sized bed which were comfortable and large bathroom and shower. The place was spotless and booking and check in was very easy. Good location and reasonably priced. Will stay again.

This was a stop over for us as we travelled from Melbourne to Sydney. Located close to the Hume, a more than reasonable price point and within close proximity of a range of simple eateries made this an easy choice. The room itself was excellent. Spacious, comfortable beds, quiet and with a beautifully hot shower. Tick in every box for me!!! Would stay here again for sure.

Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bakery next door sells all sorts of delicious treats as well as breakfast. Everything you need for a comfortable stay was provided. It is in a good location and I would stay there again.

Decided to break our trip going north from Melbourne in Goulburn and needed a one-night stopover. We chose the Bakehouse Motel based on (1) proximity to the Hume Highway; (2) price and (3) Tripadvisor Reviews and pictures. We were not disappointed. Yes, the rooms are basic with a small TV and not much in the way of ambience, but everything was clean, the hot water was hot and the beds comfy. Interestingly we could hardly hear any highway noise and it didn't impact on our stay. The manager was very friendly, and the Bakery next door was a great place for breakfast. The city centre is only a 5-minute drive and there are plenty of places to eat.

The room was spacious and the bathroom is quite large, shower pressure was lovely.. the bakery nearby has delicious cakes especially the custard tart yum yum and nice and quiet as well. Lovely area with lots to do.

Well maintained property, friendly staff and GREAT facilities. Attention to details included the necessary items to make yourself at home (ironing board, extra pillows, chairs and a place to visit outside of the rooms!! )! A jewel and MY kind of accommodations with some character!!
