I personally believe I have been scammed. I booked 2 rooms in October 2023 for April 2024. 2 weeks before my reservations I received an email stating that my credit card information was invalid and I must resubmit the information within 24 hours. I resubmitted the information and received confirmation. An hour later, another email, same thing. Not wanting to resubmit that info online again, I called the hotel directly. No one available that could help with reservations. TWO days later, and 5 minutes (literally) after receiving an email saying my reservations had been cancelled, I spoke to the manager. He said the booking was made through a 3rd party which he had no control over...no control over his own website? He also stated that several people were having the same problem and that the prices, on his website in October, had been wrong and that the costs of rooms would be significantly higher to rebook. No way was he going to honor my confirmation # and the fact that I'd been trying to rectify the problem for the last 48 hours. He suggested it was the 3rd party booking agent at fault, I suggested it might be his hotel trying to get higher rates due to the eclipse rush coming through their town. He rudely assured me I would not be charged, but I no longer had reservations and that I would no longer be able to make future reservations at their hotel. As if. It is very rare for me to get upset enough to write a negative review, but here it is. Wish there were negative stars. A most horrible experience. If you're intending to reserve a room here, I would suggest you look elsewhere if possible.
