Guilin Park Hotel

Room is very clean. Location is good close to many attractions and food streets. Room is a little old, tv quality is poor. Overall not bad if you can get it at a discount.

I enjoyed staying at this hotel, the room was great and staff was friendly. Great deal for the price.

The hotel itself is good, clean rooms and the staff are helpful. However the travel agency that is attached to the front desk sold us a scam tour. We booked a rice terrace tour, we left at 8am and did not get to the terraces until 1:30pm! The driver took us to this village where he tried his hardest to sell us on some show of the locals washing their long hair, we tried to leave but we couldn't as there was no bus, taxi or didi anywhere near it, plus the driver had it our tickets to the rice terrace which we paid for but would not give us. He then took us to the only restaurant which charged us triple what it should have cost. When we FINALLY got the terraces the "tour guide" said be back by 3pm and fell asleep in his car! Absolutely ruined the whole experience as that was one of the main reasons for going to Guilin. We complained to the travel agency but the lady just kept repeating the same thing over and over again and not even listening to us. So I'd advise against this hotel until they remove these scammers. Since they allow them to operate there they are enabling this practice. Learn from our mistake and stay away. We wanted a day at the rice terraces, not a few hours...

A fantastic hotel with great location, cozy rooms, a nice breakfast, and friendly stuff. Definitely recommended.

Fantastic location and access to various scenic locations. Staff very helpful, particularly Mr Edison Wang who promptly help me to get my backpack when I left it back after checking out. Rooms were clean and lovely views. The only thing was the air conditioning could have been better (but we were told that due to the facing of the room it constantly got the sun rays so the heat) but we were promptly given two fans to make the room cooler. Thank you again.

When we checked in the receptionist was nicely fluent in English. Several other personal was able to speak English as well. The location is sublime and overall quality is nice.
