SpringHill Suites Gulfport I-10

Our room in the Springhill Suites Gulfport I-10 was spacious and comfortable for our few days stay. We also enjoyed the larger lobby area where we were able to hangout with family and play board games while watching sports on the television. The location was good for us as we were visiting family who just relocated to the area, There are many amenities close by - restaurants & stores - and it is a short drive to the local airport and the beach with easy access to I-10. We actually flew in and out of New Orleans which is only 1 hour 15 minutes drive away.

The suite worked well for three of us, comfortable, roomy, with nice queen beds, sofa, good work space. The public area was very comfortable, and the breakfasts quite good, and varied somewhat over the 4 days we were there. The staff was extremely pleasant, professional, and accommodating.

The hotel was nice close to the interstates with decent rooms the fair price and good customer service along with free breakfast in the morning which is pretty good. Other than that it’s not a bad place to stay.

Overall a nice place. The room had plenty of space and was well equipped with microwave and small refrigerator. Front desk ladies were friendly. Workout room and convenience shop looked good though I didn't use them. Room was clean and bathroom had plenty of towels. The location is very good, near I-10 and there are a variety of restaurants very close by. The negatives for me were these. •Heat/ac was strange at times and when trying to warm up the room it took a while and then I could feel cool air blowing. •This is not limited to this hotel, but I am just not a fan of paying $170 for a room and having dormitory style toiletries. I recycle a lot at home but when on a vacation stay, I want individual items. •also not just this hotel but the toilet paper is getting so thin at most hotels it is getting laughable. •Finally, the room design is not my favorite. I am a light sleeper and the light from the bathroom shines into the bedroom when one enters the bathroom before closing the sliding door. There is a big walk in closet that would be a better placement of the bathroom, but obviously the designer didn't ask me and it is too late now. Hard to explain without seeing the layout. The breakfast didn't seem to offer a big choice but maybe I missed something, and I am not a big breakfast eater.

This is the Best Springhill suites. Rooms are nice size and very clean. Beds are very comfortable. Bathrooms are nice size with wall in shower. All furniture is nice and comfortable. Internet works great. Hotel is clean inside and outside. Lots of parking that is well lit. Hotel close to lots of Restaurants and shops. Excellent staff that care. Outstanding Hotel!

This hotel is located in Gulfport, MS just north of I-10 at exit 34. The area that this hotel is located at still seems to be growing. The hotel is not too hard to find and is towards the back of the road it is on. Some spots coming to it are prone to flooding, as we saw it firsthand during heavy rain coming here. My visit here was for the night of August 25, 2022. With all the rain going on that day, it was great to get to the hotel around 12:30 pm. When we came in, it was pretty empty at the time. We went up to the front desk to check in. There was a new associate at the counter. After getting our room info, I let her know that I would be using a Marriott Gift Card. With her being so new, she didn't know how to redeem the gift card. The manager wasn't there at the time as she had to go and get some stuff for the hotel. The associate at the counter called the manager to let her know. The manager had told her to use the credit card for now and would change it later to the gift card. Though, a few moments later, the manager was back, so the manager was able to walk her through on how to redeem a gift card, so all worked out. Since all of the Marriott hotels I have been to have given water and a snack for my Silver Elite status, I had asked if there was one here as well. The manager indicated no, as it's only for Gold Elites and above at this location. Because of the rain, we didn't bring much in at the time. We made it to the suite (suite 409) and checked things out there. Everything looked good and took a bit of time to just relax after driving in that rain. I was at another Springhill Suites a few days prior in Georgia. The room was set up pretty much the same way, which I was not surprised about. The room has a nice size desk area if you need to work on anything, free Wi-Fi is available, there was plenty of storage areas, the closet was large and the beds felt really good. I like having more room in the suites. The room also had lots of power plugs and USB connectors too. Once the rain subsided, we would then get our bags from the car to bring up. Since the hotel wasn't too busy at the time (it would be later in the day) and the weather wasn't that good, I took advantage of checking out the inside grounds of the hotel and the amenities they had to offer. The lobby area is large welcoming space. Next to the front desk, the corner market is there as well if you need to get something like a drink or snack. Seating for breakfast time is in that area as well. They have a business center, exercise room as well. Guest laundry is also available. After there was another break in the rain, I went outside to check out the outside seating and pool that they have as well. The pool is fully outdoors. Everything was too wet to try and take advantage of those outdoor options. During the break in rain, we headed over to a restaurant near the hotel. It was really nice that there were quite a bit of options in the area, even though you can see the area is sti

Typical mid-priced hotel. Rooms were very clean and spacious; the main halls and stairways need some attention...in general the facility is starting to show some age. Staff was very friendly at check-in. Breakfast bar offered the normal assortment; coffee was hot, food was good, and the fruit was fresh. All-in-all, a comfortable stay and good value. We'll certainly stay here again.

The room is large and comfortable. Very comfortable beds and a comfortable hotel room in general. There is a sitting area and a nice-sized bathroom. Breakfast was good. From checking-in, to those working breakfast, to housekeeping and checking out, the staff was top-notch. Kind, friendly, and gracious. It is in a commercial location, close to lots of chain restaurants and shopping but also not far from the heart of Gulfport. It is close to I-10 as well.

Everyone is super friendly and very kind. The breakfast lady is hand down the best hospitality ambassador I've ever encountered. Very clean hotel room and a great atmosphere. Thank you for being so great.
