Excellent service from Bridget & staff I had a small glitch with booking through a third-party ( FYI JUST RING THEM DIRECT FOR BEST SERVICE & PRICE) which I probably wouldn’t have picked up on as I was going down for Dad‘s funeral and probably wasn’t focusing as well as I could’ve been. These guys found it sorted it out all before I actually picked it up 12 days later & only when a credit went through and I got the notification, honesty beyond, thank you .Our room was very clean & spacious, bed & pillows were very comfortable, great shower nice and hot with good pressure, lovely complimentary Continental breakfast and Bridget made me a very good cappuccino, the motel is walking distance, actually across the road or next door. It’s that close to all types of food,dine in or Takeaway. I would recommend staying here and it will be my go to when travelling through Gunnedah. THANKS AGAIN FOR A COMFORTING STAY AT A DISTRESSING TIME.

The Mackellar Motel is situated on the Main Street at the edge of the CBD. They provide a free continental breakfast and a cooked breakfast for an extra charge. For evening meals you have the RSL opposite and the Courthouse Hotel about 100 metres away. Both establishments serve great meals. The rooms are large and have a stocked fridge and a dining table and chairs. The bathrooms are spacious. I highly recommend this motel as the place to stay when in Gunnedah.

I have only just checked in, but am amazed by the service and the motel. This is my new motel for my trips the Gunnedah. Front desk was more than helpful, the rooms are large, fresh and comfortable bed. Offers chargeback to local restaurants and the club over the road & also inclusive of breakfast in the morning. Great pressure in the shower. Cant fault this motel and also its a great price. I recommend this motel for anyone looking for a better motel in Gunnedah

Warm, comfortable, wuiet room, great bed, big bathroom huge shower with excellent pressure(hurrah!) good continental breakfast included in price of room. Great location close to restaurants and with friendly, very helpful staff. Recommended.

Always stay here every visit to Gunnedah for business. Friendly and welcoming staff and they make a great Fried Breakfast. I thoroughly recommend staying here. Rooms are clean and tidy and plenty of parking space. Close to main shopping centre in Gunnedah

A lovely room and great customer service from Brigitte and Steve. Very centrally located. the room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The complimentary Continental Breakfast was yummy and the Cappuccinos delicious. The breakfast room was light and cheery with a lovely outlook.

Steve and Brigitte are exceptional hosts, always friendly and responsive to any requests. The motel is in a perfect mid-town location, with excellent rooms and undercover parking. I have no hesitation in highly recommending Mackellar Motel Gunnedah.

So clean, spacious and comfortable. The shower and bed linen, including superb pillows are foremost in my memory. Wish we had stayed for longer than one night. We enjoyed our brief stay and felt completely rested. Will definitely return. Highly recommend!

Excellent large sized rooms, not boxy at all. Large Bathroom with great water pressure & hot shower. Beds were very comfortable & pillows excellent. Super clean & fresh. Yes more costly but you get what you pay for & these rooms are worth the extra. Our new stop over place in Gunnedah over all others we’ve tried in the past. Highly recommend . Handy to everything as right in town & opposite local Bowls Club with excellent meals for weary travellers Gary & Sonia Berry
