Che Sara Sara Chalets

On the way to the entrance on Nunn road, I like to travel slowly to appreciate the beautiful surrounds and also to ensure I don't miss the entrance. There is wooden sign with the name of the place (Che Sara Sara) at the entrance On the way in there is magical drive under some of my favorite trees and plants, the emu plum is abundant (Western Australia most largest edible fruit) as well as the karri sheoak with it's long thin hanging needles and round cones. The botanically minded might appreciate the curious inversion of this pair where the conifer has "fruit" and the flowering plants has needles and cones. After the sheoak and emu plum comes a few bends with tall karri with the understory opened up to show the high canopy. The Frankland River curves around so all chalets are a short walk down to the banks. Canoes are available and it's very serene on the waters. If you like birds you'll love the beautiful birdsong, I saw many different species. I especially appreciated the old trees that provide a shady canopy around the chalets. There are large Marri, Karri, Jarrah and Tingle trees throughout, and the largest tree by girth on mainland australia is nearby and worth a visit at 24m! (The Giant Tingle Tree) Perfect place to get away from the city and reconnect with nature.

If you're looking for a quiet place away from all of the hustle and bustle of the city where you can actually hear yourself think .... Che Sara Sara is the place. If you want somewhere that is tranquil this is the place, there isn't any phone reception or wifi but honestly anyone going away as a family with their kids to sit on your phones why bother. You are given a Chalet that has all the basic needs but I would recommend shopping at home for food as the closest town Walpole is very pricey. The chalets are nice sized so when you light the fire inside it is just beautiful. Only thing that would be good to recommend would be if they provided the bathroom things like soap as a basic otherwise no complaints

Wow what an amazing place. Such a beautiful setting and the nature is just so incredible . Right next to the beautiful river where you can use the canoes they supply . Really friendly owners and soo good for kids . I would go back in a heartbeat! Walpole is so beautiful

The most incredible experience! We can’t wait to go back again as we all had a wonderful time. The property is beautiful, if you love nature this is the place to stay. We had such a comfortable sleep and the host was lovely. This property has a river frontage which is where we went to sit and have our morning coffee and watch the water flow by. Quiet, relaxing, and have recommended to all of our friends.

Such a beautiful spot! The perfect bit of paradise to escape, relax and immerse yourself in the encompassing nature. The chalets were clean, tidy and well appointed with everything you would need. Everything worked well and the beds were comfy. We stayed with our 2 dogs which was fantastic that Che Sara Sara allowed dogs. Dog kennels are also available which is fantastic. We walked the tracks, went down on the rocks at the river, didn’t go canoeing but could have if we wanted. The dogs and us loved it! It is very close to Walpole, beaches, Valley of the Giants and many more wonderful places to see and visit. The people running the place could not have been more friendly and helpful. Lovely people. We will definitely be back, maybe in winter next time. Already there in my head. To quote Darryl Kerrigan “ Pure Serenity “!

Had been here a few times, organised stays for groups of friends. This was the first time staying in winter and the experience was special. The Frankland River which hugged the property part way was full and most of the peaceful rocky area was submerged. Prue made us very welcome, starting from when we made the reservations, to the care and concern over the comfort and safety of our large group. We paddled the canoes made available for guests. The facilities in the chalets were adequate. We used the campfire as well. We made a few complaints and Prue wanted us to write them down which assured me that the issues would be addressed. I'm already planning for our next stay!
