One of the most beautiful views I’ve ever seen from a hotel balcony! Rooms are spacious, and the amenities are top shelf. This is truly a wonderful experience, from watching the Moose roam the grounds, grabbing the kayak and heading out for the rainbow trout! Sitting on the deck or by the fire enjoying a coffee! The place was just outstanding.

The Lakeview Inn is a quiet, peaceful, and welcome alternative to the mega resorts on Parks Hwy. The Cloud View room was a perfect fit for our family of 6. It's nice and spacious, with a fantasic view. It's meticulously clean. The beds and linens are comfortable. And the water is hot. We appreciated the prepared breakfasts and snacks, and all the added little touches that makes the place feel homelike. Unfortunately, we did not have a chance to use the kayaks, but we loved peeping the moose that came to water's edge. It's such a serene place. Most guests will likely have their own transportation. But if not, know there is a decent restaurant at the golf course, which is a walkable distance for most. It seems the launch sites for some of the Denali Park Adventures tours (ATV, Jeep, etc.) are right up the road. This did not affect the noise at the Inn. In fact, it was super convenient to us, as we did not need a shuttle for our scheduled tour.

The inn is in a big, rambling wooden building overlooking Otto Lake south of Healy. Access is via a short, potholed gravel road off Otto Lake Road. Our room was mid-sized, a bit packed but comfortable. The included breakfast in your room fridge could be termed generous continental, perfectly adequate for eating at your small table overlooking the lake. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Good option for access to Denali National Park. You can eat at the Black Diamond Grill nearby without driving into Healy.

Stayed in the Willow something (?) room, 2nd floor with a balcony overlooking the lake. Stunning views! And the management has thought of everything - super comfortable bed, screen balcony door for mosquito control, nice toiletries, good coffee setup, breakfast foods in your room with plenty of extra to grab some for a snack to take into the park. Only downside is they have you remove your shoes inside the hotel - they should put a little money into new floors that are easier to clean than light colored carpet.

The Denali Lakeview Inn is a charming property. There’s not much to it aside from a few dozen guest rooms on a lake. But the rooms are cozy with Alaska nature-themed art on the walls, wood furniture and bedspreads that resemble hand-made quilts. The rooms have decks with spectacular views of a lake and the moose that made regular appearances. The amenities are limited. A breakfast plate is provided with eggs, fruit and a muffin. There are kayaks and bicycles that guests can use on and around the property. It is near an ATV tour company and a nice family-owned restaurant.

Nice exterior property. Guests not allowed to wear shoes anywhere inside the building on carpet that wasn't that clean to begin with. The second morning we did not have hot water. I reported it very early and the owner did not make any attempt to come to the property to try to rectify this before we left. The rooms are ok but very crowded with too much furniture. I agree with some other reviews that the hard boiled eggs were not palatable. The muffins and other items were fine. We were with a tour group but as an individual I would not return.

This Inn is really well run! The rooms were neat and clean and the people working there could not have been nicer. A food trey was delivered gratis to each room. The inn is located with a lovely view of Lake Otto. There was a moose cow and her baby living in the woods next to the lake and were seen several times a day around the lake along with another juvenile moose. This inn is a great, unpretentious place to stay.

The Lakeview Inn has exceeded our expectations in so many ways. First, the room has an amazing lake view and peaceful environment which we thoroughly enjoyed every of the 5 days here. Second, the kayaks (provided by the property) and the amazingly beautiful and calm water also added to our experience. Third, the regular visits by the moose cow and calf near the edge of the lake right in front of the property (!). And last but not least, ALL the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. This place has everything we look for in our trip to Denali and more.

This place is fantastic … Tara and Daryl were so accommodating during our stay. This place is in the quaint town of Healy - close to Denali National Park The view from any of the rooms are wonderful. Plenty of room to enjoy tranquility on their deck on the lake.
