It was a very comfortable experience. The hotel is very central and you have plenty of eating options in the area. Very friendly staff at the reception.

The SSAW hotel in Hefei is my number one destination. I love everything about this place from the staff at the reception when I arrive to the confort of my room to the location of the place. I always have my breakfast at the hotel. I am very traditional with my choices but the restaurant offers a variety of food. Thank you again for a great stay Annie Clouâtre

I don’t understand why it was reviewed as 5 stars by Trip. Even if it’s for a local hotel, it is not 5 stars at all, only 1 star worth and Only the location is 5 stars. The room is so dusty, dark and has musty smell. The carpet, shelves and decorations are all so dusty. Feels like no one cleans the room and the corridor is also so dark, so scary… only thing good about the hotel is the location where it’s situated. The room is also hot, the air con is not cooling at all and it can even go down to 5 degree Celsius but it never goes down and totally no cool air. The breakfast restaurant is so hot and stuffy and the staff still said air con is already at the lowest temperature. If you need to stay around Huai He pedestrian street, just stay a night is still tolerable, other than that I doubt anyone can stay any longer in the hotel.

The room is clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel is also very convenient.

Good location near all services and restaurant

Following a hiccup during check-in, the experience at this hotel was positive. The manager provided excellent service and the room was quiet, with a nice view. Location is excellent (next to the walking street and a large mall, with great dining options). The breakfast is Chinese, and could benefit from a couple of choices appropriate for foreign guests.

Hotel is located in a central spot of Hefei downtown, close to everything. The hotel room itself is reasonably clean, however moulds can be seen in corners and edges in the bathroom as the room is a bit dated. There was some loud noise from the young couple staying next door or the level above at midnight, we had to call the reception to remind them to be mindful of other customers staying in the hotel.

I think the best part is the hotel location, it's near to the mall and cross the road it's pedestrianised zone. Very very convenience. And yes, you can use under ground car park in the mall, free of charge. Very good.
