Our email Confirmation specified the charges. And we confirmed the charges with the desk clerk and she confirmed that ONLY those charges would be put on our bill. Yet when we checked out, they had added an additional $50. They refused to take it off the bill even though it was not consistent with either the Confirmation email nor what the desk clerk had told us. Lying is not acceptable nor is not complying with written confirmation letters!

Quiet room for a good night’s sleep in a comfortable bed. The breakfast was OK, but could use some fresh fruit and bottled water. Great location that is walkable to the Octoberfest area- which is a mile down the road, along the river and parks, and across the festively lit bridge.

Newly remodeled, very clean, plenty of storage space, nice decor, comfy bedding, comfortable roon. Nice breakfast, yogurt, fruit cups, waffles. A nice quiet location across the street from walking trail and river. Enjoyable stay at affordable price.

Nice clean room. Friendly customer service. Nice cold a/c. Would stay again. Location is close to town and very convenient to stores and restaurants. The beds and pillows were good. A awesome water park right across the street to beat the heat.

This hotel will get you by advertising that they are newly renovated, but don’t let that fool you, from the moment you get there you will see that it’s not a clean place, the corridors leading to the rooms both down stairs and upstairs are filty, the hotel is noisy, both from adults talking loudly into the wee hours of the night or management kids running down the corridors, early mornings bumping your door, to the AC in the room so loud it sounded like a freight train each time it chips in, and it leaks water onto the floor. Also housekeeping don’t think that part of cleaning the room is to clean the floor. The floor in our room had spots all over it, you can clearly see that the past guest or past few guests had spill things on the floor, and house keeping is so NASTY that they left in just like that for the next guest to stay. I was not feeling well so i was not up to complaining while i was there, however i made sure my hubby and i bare feet never touch the floor. We will NEVER stay at another Days Inn, this was our first time and it will be our last. The charge us $184+ tx per nights Thru *********** and it was NOT worth it, not in the least, i feel like we were totally rip off. Last but not least, please remember to make sure you don’t leave anything in the room by accident when you leave, because they will throw it out, without giving you a chance to get it back, they did that to my electric toothbrush charger.

They did some beautiful renovations to this hotel. It used to be pretty rundown, but now the new owners have renovated many rooms if not all. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean, beds are comfy, great location next to the waterpark and walking trail that many people don’t know about. It’s a bit of a walk to downtown Helen, but you can walk it under a mile, or park over at the town park next to Hoffman‘s bakery for free and walk around there. The breakfast was standard ental, nothing fancy. I would definitely recommend this for a couples or families as the hotel and owners have truly done a great job updating this establishment

We visited Helen, GA not during peak season and stayed here. It is about a mile from the center of town just as you enter Helen. We liked the fact that the road it's on parellel the main street so we could use to avoid the town's main drag and the traffic to get back to our hotel. Our room was pretty clean and the towels soft. It had a jet tub situated in the room right next to the bed which was kind of strange but at least it worked and was very relaxing.. Their wireless internet service was easy to connect to and the signal was strong. Although they did not have hot items at their contental breakfast, it was a decent breakfast

The rooms are tiny and somewhat cramped, but clean. You have a fridge, coffee pot, microwave, hair dryer, and a phone. I like the area; it is a bit from the overcrowded and loud road. The only downside is you do not have any scenery. I have found that the majority of the cabins and hotels in Helen are extremely overpriced and not at all worth it. This is the very best we have ever stayed at in Helen and we have been coming here for years trying different places.

Had the best experience here. The staff was super accommodating and friendly. The room was clean and updated. I highly recommend this hotel. It’s a close walk to most of the restaurants near by. I will visit again!
