Ethereal White Resort Hotel & Spa

An outstanding hotel, wonderful staff and excellent facilities. The spa is wonderful, a long pool and my wife and so both had a very good massage. Our room was very high tech and very spacious, light and comfortable. Excellent breakfast with a full range of food. Also very good value.

We stayed in the hotel (not “resort”) for 2 nights. The first impression was nice even though the neighbors from the close buildings can completely see you. Our room was nice but that’s basically the only thing that was nice. We went to the spa area where you can only use the pool and hot tub for free and the next is for extra charge (sauna) which is disappointing for the amount we paid. The pool was cold even though it’s supposed to be 29 degrees and the hot tub was a cold tub. The solution we got is to wait 5 hours till they will warm it up… the next day we wanted to use the swimming pool which supposed to be open from 10am. We went there by 11:30 and it was locked-we couldn’t even use the pool chairs. The answer for that was “they cleaning it because of the weather so we need to wait for them to finish it”. But the worst thing was after the check out - we checked out and stored our luggage. When we came 5 hours later to take our luggage, they blamed us for a damage we didn’t do and the manager told us he will call the police if we won’t come with him to the room to look at the damage which was a tiny scratch under bad that wasn’t done by us and he talked very aggressive and not polite to us This hotel is the worst! Stay away from it if you want to relax in your vacation .

It is not a resort that is for sure , it is only a tiny boutique hotel , 3 stars at best , it is quite updated so had all what you would need for the night and nothing more . It is close to the city centre, no views , rooms are extremely small . It was only myself and my wife and we couldn’t really walk at the same time in the room . No parking , no luggage service , the breakfast was extremely poor . It is ok for a place to sleep at night but that is about it . I won’t recommend this hotel to Anyone and I would rather you stay somewhere else .

Brand new beautifully executed smart hotel in the heart of Heraklion! A family group of twelve stayed here while traveling to Crete, Paros and Athens and this was a favorite. We only stayed one night but loved our visit. The hotel is modern and classic at the same time with beautiful marble finishes. When our group arrived, we were greeted at reception to sign in on iPads. Afterwards, several of us were upgraded gratis to luxury rooms. It was over hundred degrees in Heraklion so we headed up to the rooftop pool and bar which had a view of the distant sea. It was a perfect way to ride out the heatwave. The AC was superb, the bed amazingly comfortable with crisp clean linens. The shower was huge as was the double vanity sink. There were robes, slippers, a coffee and tea maker, a safe and iron. There was even a small private balcony to hang our wet bathing suits out to dry. It is located within walking distance of the lion fountain with many nearby restaurants and shops. We highly recommend this hotel. And hope to return.

We just checked in after traveling from Athens and walking around all day in the heat and we were all so excited to go up on the roof and have a drink and float in the pool, which was one of the main reasons I booked this hotel. Well, we get up here in our bathing suits and they said the pool closed at 7pm! Really?!? The bartender was very sweet and asked her manager and he said “no” that this is the policy! Well I actually work in the hospitality business and I tell you if they are trying to be 5 star, good luck! Btw, no one is even here! The hotel seems empty. Well in all fairness, this is a premature review, hopefully I will redo it with a more fair and balanced one! I’m just annoyed and so is my 18 year old son! Ugh!

The hotel is located in a quite area at the center of Heraklio, walking distance to the restaurants, cafes and bars . It's a brand new hotel that provides whatever the guest would like to feel comfortable. Very friendly staff, nice clean rooms , very good restaurant , very good breakfast, beautiful spa with heated swimming pool Jacuzzi, sauna and high technology in the rooms since it's the first smart hotel in Crete, the Ethereal Whitel Resort has absolutely everything !
