Not a bed place very quite

Well, day after spending a night there I am still alive, so... But I even considered sleeping in a car parked outside. Thankfully, my bedsheets were clean. Other than that... a ceiling in bathroom had a fungus so old and big, it probably became sentient. Stains on the carpet I hope were of red wine. But I am alive. In few days we shall see if I developed PTSD or not.

We were shown the first room which had a large brown mark in the bath and water on the floor,I was told that the bath had just been repaired, the second room we were shown had no heating, we were then offered a free upgrade to a room that had been refurbished, but that room was not finished with doors missing of wardrobe. We then moved to another hotel I spoke to the manager of the Himley Country Hotel who refused a refund. It looked like they had refurbished one room, took pictures, and the used those to promote the hotel. After 21 years in the hotel industry this was the worst experience of customer service from a manager that I have ever experienced. I wished i had taken photos Ps Stairs to second level really steep

The room smelt awful and the bedding. The fire escape was being used for smoking so it was being opened and banged closed every 20 mins. People chatting in the corridor. And a complimentary bees nest outside the window so the window can not be opened. Mould in the bathroom that just needed a quick clean. We give this a gold medal for the worst hotel we have ever stayed. Needs some money spent on it.

Very Dirty-mould all in bathroom, dirty towel, bath, sink and toilet really dirty ( as bad as public park facilities) - we think this hotel is being used to house homeless,ex convicts and other challenging clients ( understand requirements however not suitable for most people) very dated (80s) but main problem was it was filthy- we had no other option as we travelled from Spain to attend a Wedding locally and arrived at this hotel late evening- 11.30pm to be greeted with a number of clients around the car park wearing hoodies rather disturbing. This must have been a beautiful place 25 - 35? yrs ago however VERY run down and extremely dirty- Do Not book this Hotel I have stayed in hundreds of hotels around the world in my life time and in many poor countries, and this Hotel is the 2nd worst Hotel ( Number 1 still goes to a Hotel located by the Thames in London) Stay away unless you are looking for an unusual experience Sorry due to our limited time I could not take more photos I think some of the recent reviews are fake - - so please be alert

This is not a corporate hotel chain. It’s budget cost. Was there a few days, wasn’t fantastic but also wasn’t all that bad . Staff are friendly,pleasant and always helpful, bar is clean and draught is as should be . All in all, if I had to stay local to here again - I would come again . It’s ok for the cost. There is an incredibly well presented restaurant area that’s obviously been very well maintained- that isn’t open , I reckon when that’s up and running and when the rooms are updated - you won’t get in here

I was booked to stay there this evening, staying after a 5 and a half hour drive from Scotland before continuing my journey tomorrow. Let me tell you, I have never ever walked out of a hotel in disgust until today! This place is a filthy hovel! First room I entered, 218 , filthy windows, webs andcdirt all over inside, drawers covered in dust, broken toilet seat, smashed tiles behind shower switch AND a dead cockroach on bathroom floor! I didn't even know we had cockroachs in uk! Second room, 113, not any cleaner, except no cockroach and windows a bit clearer. Cockroach = health inspection, they are serving food in this place! I litterly put my bag in second room headed to Marston for a bite to eat and decided I can't stay, I walked bag , grabbed my bags , told reception I can't stay, response was 'ok' Didn't even question why. Clearly I would like to be refunded as this was way below any expectations of anywhere I've stayed. I ended up travelling the rest of my journey and am now knackered. A fast resolution and refunded ASAP please., Update, not refunding! Should I be reporting this hotel to environmental health? Also they had a paper sign at reception saying 'no hot water' which I failed to get a picture of, really, so nobody could get a shower either, if they were brave enough. Pictures attached

Oh my days!!!!!! Please don't waste your money!! Absolutely disgusting needs fumigating if not knocking down altogether. On arrival carpark looked like waste ground - litter everywhere and overgrown weeds The sign that says photo id is required should have been a given away. Shabby rooms, dirty bathrooms, torn carpets, peeling wallpaper, mould and damp everywhere. Asked for a drink in the bar at 3pm and was told no! We have a private function this evening! Day staff were awful, have no customer service experience at all. Toilets in the main area were vile, broken toilet seats, no toilet paper and absolutely teeming with bugs. I slept fully clothed on top of the bed incase of unwanted visitors. We were out of there by 9am and I've never felt so dirty in my life. My husband has now banned me from booking hotels but I have snuck a sneaky luxury holiday to Beirut next year.

Hell on earth!!!! DO NOT STAY!!!!!! Mould in rooms, smelt like wee and **** People being sick outside hotel though drinking to much Bed sheets had blood in Felt unsafe in hotel Punch holes in doors The list is endless Checked in and checked out within the hour Please do not stay here
