Alet was an absolutely amazing host. The lodge itself felt like a little Bali experience, It was the perfect blend of luxury, relaxation, and nature.If there was an option, I would gladly give Africa Flair Boutique Lodge a 6 star rating because of the exceptional service, warm hospitality, and beautiful breathtaking ambiance. Alet went above and beyond to make sure we had the most memorable weekend, and every detail was perfectly arranged. Everything was absolutely amazing, and my partner had the most beautiful, special, and unforgettable birthday celebration. Thank you so much for making our stay such a wonderful experience,we will definitely be coming back again

WOW WOW WOW! What else can I say about this place? Just WOW again. I have travelled extently all over tre world, including luxury resorts in the Maldives, but African Flair and Alet tops all of them❤️ This is a hotel, with large outside space, a big pool, beautiful interior, very African/Bali vibes, just gorgeous!!! Then you have your room, or it is actualy a luxurious cabin, with a big 4 poster bed, in and outside shower, nice gas fire place just beside the tub. And then you have to upstairs outside bed where you have the most amazing view of all the million of stars, and the hearing of the lion roars, quite amazing. You actualy wont believe it before you are there. The very special thing is that you got ALL of this just for your self, no other guests, just you alone, or your partner/friend. And Alet, what can I say about Alet? The most adorable, lovely and friendly person I have ever met. She is there for you 24/7, you can WhatsApp her anytime, and she answers as well in minutes, usualy seconds. She gave me a lovely bottle of Vrede & Lust Malbec, just so I could try her favorurite red❤️ She will do everything yours ask about, from booking in Hotel massages, and their spa room us quite stunning, trips, restuarants and so on. She is also a very good cook, you will have the most amazing plated breakfast when ever you want. I could have been going on here, but I think I just have one more thing to say: Just book African Flair Boutique hotel, you wont regret it, I promise!

I was pleasantly surprised to find such a well planned/designed property right here in Hoedspruit. It is honestly comparable to established facilities across the world. I would recommend it anyday.

This place is absolutely phenomenal. We felt safe, relaxed and at home. The pictures do not do it justice, and I am so glad I booked it. It is so stylish and luxurious, and the owner certainly has impecabble taste. My husband was hesitant at the thought of a safari and was very nervous about the safety aspect of it all. However, he loved every minute of it, slept like a baby, and asked me why I did not book the place for longer! The staff were amazing and friendly, and they seemed to know what we wanted and needed, even before we did. We loved the fact that we would return and everything was perfectly in place for our arrival. The cleanliness was 5*. I am a bit OCD, but I could not find one thing wrong. The cleaning staff took care of everything and I never had to question anything. On top of that the food was amazing, the picnic to go was divine, and the plethora of wines and drinks were superb. The kitchen employee certainly knew what they were doing. I think this is the longest review I have ever written, but it is wholeheartedly deserved. I love this place, and I am sad I did not book it for longer. Do not hesitate to stay here, you will not regret it.

We stayed here for two nights before heading a little further into Kruger National Park. Every facet of this luxury boutique hotel is polished and nothing is overlooked. Staff keep the grounds manicured so every photo looks Instagram worthy. This is THE standard for a luxury, couples retreat that's perfect for a honeymoon, anniversary or any special occasion where privacy and relaxation is desired. I still can't believe we had this entire hotel to ourselves! The hostess Allette is simply fabulous and goes beyond the extra mile to ensure your experience is rememberable. We did an afternoon safari at a nearby reserve right after arriving and spent the second day doing the Panorama Drive, visiting the Potholes, Lisbon Falls, Blyde Canyon and other picture perfect stops we didn't know existed. The food was wonderful. I didn't get a photo of dinner but we had perfectly cooked filet mignon, fried camembert cheese wheel, and carrot cake for dessert. The breakfast before our departure was delicious and refined. The main house has a HUGE selection of wine available to choose from, but they also have an assortment of liquor, beer and cider too. If you're ever considering a couples trip to Hoedpruit to visit Kruger, this is the place for you.
