Stayed in Schloss Hohenkammer in October for a corporate training. Overall my impression is good, despite some negative points as noted below. Hotel is around 35-36 kms from Munich airport and if you come from there most convenient is to take a taxi. It seems quite popular for corporate events and at the time i was there it has been pretty packed. Surrounding area is quiet and nice for short walk and enjoy the nature. Pros: My room has been clean and spacious enough. Bed was comfortable but little on the hard side in respect of mattress. Bathroom looked fancy with interesting tile design. There has been functioning heating in the room, which has been very good, having in mind the days and especially nights in October are getting chilly. Our conference room has been fine and interesting, preserving the old style of the building. The breakfast choice has been same all days, but with enough variety. Lunch and dinners have been more various with thematic cuisines and offers, overall quality and tastiness of the food is very good. WiFi quality is good. Saw also umbrella stands with umbrellas, which is pretty handy for the guests. Cons: Room service/houskeeping has been negligent - on my last day prior leaving next day, they have taken my own face towel as well as the soap dispenser has been left empty, though there has been some soap in it prior room cleaning. The room is rather modest and on the minimalist side, there is not safe, some basic toiletries that hotels usually offer to their guests are missing, not minibar, no AC, no net on windows to preserve from the mosquitoes (some other hotel guests from our group mentioned there are mosquitoes, maybe depends on the room location). There have been only German speaking TV channels. Restuarant is one big hall and can get pretty packed with lot of people gathering and all buffet food on display (Covid is still not away, so to my opinion they could be little bit more diligent), the restaurant ventilation is not so efficient as often your clothes can get the cooked food aroma. Despite they promote to buy some of their organic produce items, when i checked at the reception prior leaving, all the products i asked for have been out of stock.

Very nice Schloss hotel! A gem in the countryside of Munich and well worth staying! They have 2 sides of the building, the old one is the Schloss area, good for a wedding place. And the modern one is for a conference place We loved the Schloss area, so beautiful! Our room is clean and big, and the bed is also comfortable. All the staff are nice and can speak good English. The breakfast buffet was great! Many selections of food. And you must visit their Bier Garden! The food was delicious and the bier was SUPER! A good place to enjoy nature, cycling or walking. One of the best chill places in Munich!

Das Schlosshotel liegt ca. 500m vom Ortskern Hohenkammer entfernt. Es ist ein sehr idyllisches Anwesen und traumhaft schön. Es war in allen Bereichen alles sehr sauber und ordentlich. Das Hotel ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Zimmer ist geräumig und sehr schön. Die Matratze ist eher hart, aber man kann super schlafen. Das Bad ist sehr groß und die Dusche ist klasse. Auch hier war alles sehr sauber und ordentlich. Es gibt einen Fitnessraum, Sauna und Masssagen etc. Man kann hier auch wunderbar im Gelände spazieren gehen und auch andere Unternehmungen starten. Das Frühstücksbüffet läßt keine Wünsche offen und es ist für jeden etwas dabei. Geschmacklich wie qualitativ sehr gut. Das Abendessen war traumhaft. Auch hier geschmacklich wie qualitativ sehr gut. Auch sind die Portionen nicht gerade klein. Großes Lob an die Küche, hier wird mit Liebe gekocht. Auch sind die verschiedenen Restaurants alle sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und haben ein tolles Ambiente. Leider war das Wetter nicht für den schönen Biergarten, den es hier auch gibt geeignet. Das gesamte Team ist sehr freundlich, herzlich und zuvorkommend. Hier ist ein tolles Team am Start. Besser geht es nicht. Bleibt so wie Ihr seid und lasst euch nicht unterkriegen. Hier kann man sich richtig wohlfühlen und genießen und verwöhnen lassen.

Unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig und klassisch eingerichtet mit Ausblick auf das Schloss. Wir haben wunderbar geschlafen. Das Frühstück war ungewöhnlich gut mit lauter frischen und äußerst wohlschmeckenden Zutaten. Wir werden gewiss wiederkommen.

Positiv: - Freundliche Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption - Leckere Mahlzeiten aus der Küche - Getränke, Gläser und Schreibutesilien werden zur Verfügung gestellt Negativ: - Eher kleine Hotelzimmer mit Teppichboden - Dusche ist zu klein und hat keine Möglichkeit zu verschliessen, daher wird schnell mal alles nass im WC (z.B. Toilette ist nach dem Duschen ganz nass) - Bett wurde bei 2/2 Übernachtungs-Nächten nicht gemacht, Wasser wurde nicht ersetzt etc. - Keine USB C Steckdosen, Fernseher auch eher zu klein für heutige Standards
