We were told it was the first time the hotel had been used by Harry Shaw ,manager didn’t greet us .We were told by the driver evening meal would be 6 pm .Checkin was slow only one member of staff ,who we found out later was the apprentice .Came down at 6 om to be told it was a mistake it was 6.30 ,whole coach came down to be told it was a mistake it was 7.30 .But they would start cooking now .Cold soup eventually arrived ,but passengers weren’t informed by staff .I asked had itbeencheckedfortemperature,was promised it would be reheated it wasn’t .Some of the bread rolls were stale .As the wedding was removed from their room they were milling about children running around as passengers were getting the soup !!I asked to speak to the manager ,he arrived but his attitude was awful .The mains arrived ,as did the driver who wasn’t very effective .The driver wouldn’t eat the food incase he became ill .
