Säntis - Das Hotel

We stayed as this hotel one night. The package for two included included dinner, breakfast and aable car ride to the top of Saentis mountain. The experience from start to finish was fantastic. We paid a little extra to reserve a parking space in the hotel garage but could not see our name/reservation in any of the spaces. Mentioned this at the reception who told us we could use any space that was not already reserved. We had a spectacular view from our room which was very comfortable and had everything one might need including slippers and dressing gowns which would be useful if using their spa facilities which we didn't but is also included in the package. We arrived too early for check-in (15.00) so took the opportunity to take the cable car up the mountain (10 mins ride). The 360 view is breathtaking, as is the whole area around the top which is amazingly well planned for all visitors with lifts or stairs to all floors: young, old, disabled. Dinner in the evening was a set menu which was very good, as was the breakfast buffet in the morning. All staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. I thoroughly recommend staying at this hotel and visiting the mountain if you can.

This was our third visit to Santis, and the experience was great as always. We love that the location is quiet and nature-oriented in both summer and winter. The staff is friendly, the service is good, and the rooms are comfortable (not sure we cared for the see-through curtain separating the bathroom though)... but the view .... the view is just amazing. A special treat is a breakfast on top of the mountain at no additional charge (presuming you have a cable car ticket). We had a half-board package and - due to diet restrictions - the hotel worried we may not have enough choice from the set menu and they allowed us to choose from the main menu as well. So considerate --- and the set menu actually had more than enough options for us. The regional dishes are particularly nice. It is not a question if we will be back for our fourth visit. Just a question of when.

Von der Planung bis zur Abreise alles reibungslos. Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal, saubere Zimmer (tolle Bettwäsche!), schöner Wellness-Bereich, dezentes, modernes Design, was sich wunderbar in die Gegebenheiten einfügt. Wir haben gut gegessen (auch wenn das Essen an sich vielleicht nicht das ist, was bei mir das WOW ausgelöst hat), guten Wein getrunken, und haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Danke und bis zum nächsten Mal, wir kommen sicher wieder!

Wir waren zwei Nächte im Hotel Säntis und hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. Das Personal war ausnahmslos sehr freundlich, ein schönes Gemisch aus einheimischen und ausländischen Mitarbeitern. Das Frühstückbuffet reichhaltig und auch das Abendessen konnte mit einem guten Preisleistungsverhältnis punkten. Unser Standard Eckzimmer war zum Parkplatz ausgerichtet, sehr sauber und wohnlich. Das nächste Mal würden wir allerdings ein Zimmer wählen das nach Hinten hinaus ausgerichtet ist. Der Grund; Die vielen Motoradfahrer die sich gerne über Lärm definieren. Das Spa ist nicht sehr gross aber sehr angenehm und erholsam. Wir buchten direkt auf der Internetseite das Sparfuchsangebot. Es brauchte allerdings für zwei Nächte zwei Buchungen.

Sehr schönes Hotel. Leider war der Wellnessbereich überfüllt, schade wir hätten gerne etwas zeit im Whirlpool und auf den Liegen verbracht, doch die waren immer besetzt. Somit war die Entspannung nicht gegeben. Im Zimmer konnten wir dann doch etwas Entspannen. Hotel mit allen bereichen gefällt mir eigentlich sehr. Das Gipfelfrühstück war dann etwa so wie der Wellnessbereich etwas zu viel für das gebuchte Kuschelpaket.

Freundliches Personal, schöne und sehr saubere Zimmer, super Aussicht, das Essen war hervorragend mit regionalen Produkten. Da Frühstücksbüffet lies keine Wünsche offen. Das Brot war fisch und einfach super. Alle machten einen super Job!! Danke vielmals
