Genuinely the best stay I have ever had at a Travel Hotel . Fantastic big sized room . Completely quiet day and night , I was on the third floor . Wonderful view over the mariner . The happiest group of staff , headed by Sara and Faik ; with a first class standard of service from them all . All in all a complete pleasure to stay and 100% nights sleep . 😄

Served by Jonathan he was very attentive to us. He answered any questions we had. Was very helpful and friendly. Overall stay was good. Was in town to go to an event so wanted to stay somewhere central. Easy to get around town to the hotel. Will come again

Shortish walk from Ipswich train station. Located opposite the marina. I originally booked this room due to going to a concert at the music room but the venye got moved across town. Friendly staff, decent hotel. Overall, what you can expect from a travelodge

Staff were cheerful and helpful. The rooms are not like the pictures! Very small with only 2plugs and the mirror on the other side of the room. The room was so awful we left after one night having paid for two. 1st room incredibly noisy, bathroom smelt and shower plug disgusting. Curtains hanging off track. We were moved to the back. That room was scruffy with smelly bathroom (urine). Appalling layout again just 2 plugs no mirror near them. Mattress collapsed and sooooo uncomfortable. Worst still the walls are paper thin so as people came home after parties at 3.30am ish we could hear absolutely EVERYTHING. So after no sleep we didn’t stay the second night and left asap. Horrible hotel avoid.

Hotel is located near the Ipswich University and harbour. Quick stroll along the harbour to local bars and restaurants. Check in staff were unhelpful, just handed keys without explaining where we need to find the lift to our room. Room was clean and tidy. No spare towel or shower mat to step out onto - floor got very wet with nothing to soak up the water. No hair dryer in room. Breakfast was a good price at £9.99 per adult but was not worth having. Should have really eaten elsewhere. The coffee machine was not working, you had to boil a kettle for a cup of tea. No plates for the toast and had to ask for tea spoons and bread. The food wasn’t monitored by staff to top up and when asking for baked beans (as the pot was also empty) was told by the member of staff in the kitchen that it would take her 20 minutes to heat them up when there was only 10 minutes left of breakfast time. We did eventually get some but no serving spoon and they were cold. Food is only kept hot under some heat lamps! No luggage storage if you arrive early, or when you checkout. Won’t be staying here again!
