This “boutique” hotel has new ownership. Unfortunately I don’t think the owners or their General Manager have any clue on how to run a hotel. I will list the pros before the cons: Pros: 1. Location 2. Great staff Now the Cons: 1. I reserved and pre-paid for a double twin bed but got a queen bed. My niece and I are traveling together. 2. Chose this because it said they offer laundry service but we were told at the front desk that we have to go out and find our own laundromat because the don’t offer laundry service even though the website says they do. I booked it through United, United maybe you need to vet the hotels you offer on the “book a hotel” site. 3. They also showed air conditioning as one of the amenities but they don’t have any. Unit blew hot air, when asked they said that if they allowed us to use the air conditioning all the 16 rooms in the “Boutique” hotel would have have their air conditioning turned on. 4. Amenities included a minibar, sadly although they had a very small refrigerator it was empty. 5. Another promised offer was free bottled water, although the room was the size of a compact cars tight garage I couldn’t find the water, I truly searched the whole room. 6. No key cards to open the door but good old fashioned medieval keys that I found out from my fellow traveler opened other guest rooms as well. 7. No ice, Asked for some but got I kid you not 12 cubes, I was told there was nothing left. What is the lack of ice availability in Turkey? I mean seriously?! Location is the only thing going for this place, don’t waste your time with this “Boutique Hotel”. Someone needs to educate the GM who clearly has no idea what he or she is doing. A Boutique hotel is not a place to stay that leaves you guessing on whether you will get you room type you paid for, maybe or maybe not you will get the published amenities advertised on the hotel website. United, I know the reservation is non refundable but I expect a refund.
