Hampton Inn & Suites Jennings

Perfect location for traveler working at the hospital. Breakfast in the mornings was nice and tasty! Will def stay again.

My company booked this hotel , I tried to get in the front door a little after 11 pm and it was locked . There was a man at the desk chatting it up with who ever was at the front desk. I stood there for atleast 20 minutes and asking if I was as going to be let in out loud and was never acknowledged. That’s awesome customer service, management should be able to see this on their cameras.

We had come from flooded Houston and it was dark and we were tired and there was the Hampton Inn in little Jennings (I happen to love Louisiana and was glad to leave TX behind). Clean, new, quiet, nice breakfast, and a charming young lady named Paige was very helpful to us - she deserves a raise! Only thing to remember is that for some reason it is a bit hard to get to - you can see the big neon sign from the main road but you have to go behind some other buildings to access it, or maybe we were just really tired.

Breakfast was great but that was about it. Beds were terrible. Mold in the shower. No hot water. Room didn’t smell clean and it was dusty. Did they even clean my room?

The staff is very nice and treated us well. I stay at Hampton Inns because you can usually always be sure that it will be a top notch stay. This Hampton Inn has fallen a bit short. We could not get any hot water in our shower. The fixture only allowed me to turn it so far to left due to apparent corrosion and hard water changes not allowing us to shower before hitting the road. Two things should be unapologetically available....nice comfy bed and the ability to take a nice warm shower. Breakfast was OK, and the employee in the kitchen serving area was very nice but it seems lately that Hampton Inn is cutting corners on the breakfast they used to provide. All hotels offer the breakfast they now provide. I guess from past performances I just expect better. Again....this doesnt feel like a location issue...seems like a corporate change. I used to never consider other hotels but now I do. Would live to see Hampton Inn do better.

Stay during Yellow Rail Festival. All front desk staff friendly. Rooms can be cleaned daily on request. Everything in room including wifi works well. Rooms laid out well, good linens and towels, enough counter space and outlets for two people. Beds a bit saggy only complaint if you are used to more support.Good breakfast with different hot choices daily, boiled eggs, yogurts fresh fruit. Appreciate them starting breakfast early on field trip days. Enough parking too!9

We arrived early and were allowed to check-in anyway. The sliding door on the closet was off the rail, but it was fixed immediately. Everything else was fine. The breakfasts were really good, and the lady serving them was extraordinary. My only complaint is the new style luggage carts are terrible, no floor and not enough room for luggage or hanging clothes.

I have stayed in over 150 hotels this year. The Hampton Inn in Jennings stands out as a great value and outstanding property. The staff could not have been more helpful and welcoming. The hotel was extremely clean and well maintained. Was with a group and they took excellent care of us.

Pros: location,next to Walgreens, clean** acceptable breakfast but coffee ran out Cons: humid rooms even with A/C on. They need to upgrade with a dehumidifier and/or keep A/C on in hallways at lower temp ** Housekeeping is very persistent and determined to get in and start cleaning at 9am, even before check-out. This is probably why rooms are so spotless, but it may not be a welcome wake-up for everyone **Put the Do Not Disturb sign up, and they will pass by your room.
