Devi Bhawan - A Heritage Hotel

Devi Bhawan is an excellent Boutique Hotel with exceptionally warm staff, The Rooms are spacious, the pool is clean, The staff at the reception Mr Bhom and the staff atthe breakfast area are extremely helpful and friendly. would highly recommend this hotel.

True oasis in Jodhpur, however there are a couple of “but’s”. Service - overall friendly. Especially the guys working in the restaurant were friendly. However, when we wanted to go to the fort and were trying to get an Uber (which somehow they all wanted to change price) the guy behind the reception told us that he had “a friend” who could bring us for more than the double price of Uber. Obviously we thanked for that and managed it ourselves. Secondly, we asked for a driver to bring us to Udaipur. We specifically asked about the car conditions and the driver. We were informed that both were outstanding. That it was a good luxury car. What a joke. It’s a Suzuki what you see in all the town. Our bags didn’t fit all in the back. Then one of the seatbelts didn’t work, so one of us needed to sit in the front. The driver immediately turned on his music very loud. Terrible. We tried to work and needed almost to scream to each other. We asked to turn it off and luckily he did. But then he started talking on the phone very loud. Again we asked to stop and to focus on the road. A hotel like this shouldn’t offer a driver like this. DONT BOOK THE DRIVER WITH THEM!!! Rooms - huge. Comfortable bed. Curtains aren’t great. Opening the door is a whole struggle (at least for our room). Bathroom is a bit old dated. Water didn’t get too warm (even with the boiler on). We liked the fact that our room wasn’t with another, therefore we didn’t had any noice. Cleanliness - clean Amenities - the wifi is terrible! The pool is great but not enough lounge area for the guests. There is no one standing there nor a bar, so if you want to drink anything you need to go to the restaurant. They also offer tours but we didn’t made use of that. Breakfast - buffet style and a bit disappointed. Especially because for pastries you have an additional costs. They also offer lunch and dinner, it’s okay nothing really special. Location - okay Price - well we have a mixed feeling about the price. Because it is a true oasis and dealing with the hectic and sounds of the town, it’s nice to have a place like this. So therefore worth the price. In terms of service they could do so much better, for that reason it feels on the pricey side.

What a find! This heritage hotel is absolutely beautiful, the gardens are amazing and it is the perfect oasis from the busyness of the city. It is approx 10-15 mins to the old town by tuktuk and less than 10mins to the airport (we never heard any aircraft) The rooms are spotless, very well appointed and the toiletries they provide are gorgeous. Bohm the manager was so helpful, nothing was too much trouble throughout our stay, in fact he even took us to the airport himself! We will definitely stay here again.

Our favourite hotel in India! We loved the setting of the hotel, surrounded by nature. The pool is an oasis. The staff were outstanding, friendly, polite and providing first class service. The restaurant provides excellent food at a reasonable price. The decor is authentic and tasteful. Overall, an absolute jem of a hotel!

Easily the best place we stayed at during our 3-week trip to India. We stayed for 4 nights at the end of July. The rooms were spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished. The pool water was clear and well maintained. The breakfast buffet was excellent and all the staff members were polite and professional without being overly attentive, which is often the case in India. We had a really great stay. We forgot a USB stick in the room, which they said they would post onward. Highly recommended!

Amazing place with very friendly staff. Makes you feel like home. The owner was super supportive when I wanted to leave my motorbike and luggage here for some days. Food in the restaurant is super - not too spicy. They upgraded the room when I came back after some days in Jaiselmer.
