Comfort Suites Loveland

Easily accessible from the hwy, the primary attraction for us was the water slide. Hours of fun for the kids. The rest is pretty average, about what you'd expect from a hotel. Everything was nice enough, good selection for breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, etc.

Nice place and good staff. Naomi is great. Easy to get to. Breakfast is basic, but decent. Indoor pool has adult and kid area. Outdoor hot tub is hot and has tables and chairs around it. Lots of restaurants and bars in the immediate area. Small gym 5 machines.

We received the most terrible service I have ever experienced from the night manager, Frances. We were there with a group for a volleyball tournament. On Saturday night, we were trying to have a quick dinner together, and since there was nowhere else to do it, we asked if we could do it in the lobby. The person at the front desk told us we could do it as long as we cleaned up after ourselves. When we were done, I made sure that everything was picked up. We had a group of about 20 people talking, and were told we needed to quiet down. Nobody was yelling, we were just talking. After all, the lobby is a common area, with couches, for people to sit and converse. We left after eating, and that was the end of that. The next evening, some of us adults were hanging out in the lobby, having a drink, and we were told open containers were not allowed in the lobby and we needed to leave. Instead of telling us the situation, and asking us nicely to move elsewhere, Frances was very confrontational from the very beginning. Nevertheless, we left and went to someone's room because there is no public area in the hotel to hang out in. One of our girls accidentally spilled some food in the hallway. Frances yelled at them and accused them of throwing food on purpose. One of the moms came out and apologized and offered to clean up the mess if they had something she could use. Frances said, "No, I'll do it" but it was never done. The mess was still in the hallway the next morning. She told us that we'd been a problem from the beginning, but I'm not sure what she meant, since we never refused to do anything she told us to do, despite her extreme rudeness at every interaction. When my husband came back to the hotel, he stopped to try to have a conversation with Frances, and she refused to tell him what was going on. He never raised his voice or threatened her in any way. He was simply trying to diffuse the situation, and get an explanation of what was going on. She accused him of disrespecting her staff, though all he was doing was trying to talk to them. When he asked how he was disrespecting the staff, she couldn't give him an answer. She could barely put a complete sentence together. She said she had repeatedly asked him "not to go there" although I'm not sure what that meant. He left the front desk since he couldn't have a real conversation with anyone, and went to the room. About 15 minutes later, the police showed up and told him he had to leave. HE DID NOTHING BUT ASK A QUESTION!! He never raised his voice, and was simply trying to talk to the staff. The staff has NO BUSINESS being in the service industry. They are confrontational and rude. They are the worst hotel staff I have ever seen and I've stayed in thousands of hotels in my lifetime. Do not stay in this hotel if you have a group or plan on spending any time in the hotel. This is the worst experience we've ever had at a hotel, and will NEVER stay there again.

Our family of three stayed at Comfort Suites Loveland during a volleyball tournament over Presidents Day weekend. Its proximity to the tournament locations and to various restaurants was convenient. However, the "on request only" housekeeping was disappointing as was the weekend breakfast starting time of 7am (well after we needed to be on the road each morning). The largest issue was the egregious behavior of the night staff which was consistently hostile and unwelcoming, to put it mildly. We would not return.

If I could give this place less than one star, I would! The hotel itself is nothing special, with the only bright spot being the waterslide. There are no amenities, and the staff is ridiculously rude! I have never met a person in customer service as poor as Francis. How she still has a job is beyond me as other reviewers have consistently mentioned how horrible she was to them. I wish I would have heeded their warning. She yelled at my children for wearing a swimming suit in the hall on the way to the POOL. She then yelled at another child for spilling food in the stairway on accident and when the parent asked for a broom to clean it up, she refused to get her one. Then, she proceeded to take pictures and didn't bother to clean it up. It was still there the next day. When another adult went to talk to her about it to resolve the problem, she unnecessarily escalated the situation by yelling at him and calling the cops. I have never met a person more unfit to work in any sort of customer service in my entire life. I will never stay at another Comfort Inn again solely because of her unprofessional behavior. Stay away from this hotel at all costs, the neighboring Embassy Suites in much nicer. The extra dollars spent to stay there will be the best money you've ever spent!

The room I booked was not what I received when I checked in. I talked with the night manager and they were not able to resolve the problem. I reserved a double Queen room and was given a king. As a resolution, I requested another room with another bed. I was offered a 10% discount on the room which was not satisfactory. The night manager contacted another manager and I was offered a 50% discount. Again, I was not happy because I had three full sized people and only one bed and a pull out. I requested an opportunity to move to another room on our second night and was told they would make a note in my account. I called the hotel the next day at noon to see if I could move and was told “sorry, we just booked our last one” and that no note was made on our account. The second night the manager told us that we weren’t welcome to gather and have open alcohol containers. She was rude and told us we were being too loud. Meanwhile, they had two outside groups (locals) renting party space and the pool area and those groups had brought alcohol in as well. Our group in total booked at least 14 nights between 7 families and only half of the rooms were the actual rooms we reserved. Additionally, drain in room shower wouldn’t drain correctly. Bright red stains (blood I assume) on walls and in between tile in bathroom. Overall terrible experience and inexperienced staffing makes this a poor choice.

I had a fantastic stay at Comfort Suites in Loveland. The room was notably spacious, and the hotel's convenient location made getting there easy. The standout feature was the large pool with a fun slide, complemented by a relaxing spa. The lobby had a unique, welcoming scent, and the staff were incredibly helpful. The breakfast area was well-kept and diverse, and the entire hotel was spotless. Overall, it’s a top recommendation for roomy accommodations and great amenities, in the area.

Visitor beware. There is black mold in this hotel. It is clearly visible behind blatenly obvious peeling wallpaper along the main hallway on the 1st floor. Very very disappointing. There is absolutely no way they do not know about this unless they are blind!

We have stayed here several times and had a great time but this trip was way different. Hot tub wasn't working which is my favorite part and a big reason we choose to stay here. GET IT FIXED! You should be ready for things like this and have a plan in place! I'm sure there are pool companies in town who would be happy to have a service plan with you. Ice maker on our floor not working again what is happening to this place? The pool was so cloudy you couldn't see the bottom because the filter system wasn't working, GROSS! Something in the kiddie area was broken leaving a metal pole sticking put of the concrete their solution but a cone over it. The toddlers were playing with the cone leaving a very dangerous situation exposed. The snack store was almost completely sold out. Sucks cause kids love to get snacks on vacation. Then there was breakfast. All tables were filthy and they were out of eggs and sausage, when I asked the staff to refill they said they weren't because it was ending soon. We still had 30 minutes of breakfast service left so many people did not get to eat. Trash cans all over the hotel were overflowing. When I spoke to the front desk about my concerns they simply said they were busy. You knew you were going to be busy plan ahead and provide the quality service that is expected and that you have provided in the past. Totally going down hill!!
