Castellino Studios

Me and my girlfriend booked a 6 night stay at Castellino Studios in July 2024. We had an amazing trip and we have Angela (owner of the Castellino Studios) to thank for so much of it. She really went the extra mile and helped us out with recommendations, boat trip drop-off and booking, car hire, food shopping on the first night and also let us use our room during check-out day. The name Castellino Studios is very fitting as we thought the place looked and felt like a stunning Greek castle. When arriving at the hotel Angela will leave paperwork on the gate with a phone number to call so she can greet you (this is because guests arrive day and night and the travel companies don't often contact the host prior to your arrival). She took us food shopping and helped us get settled in after a long day of travel. It's worth noting that Castellino Studios is located next to a main road and it takes around 15-20 minutes to walk to Faliraki. We would highly recommend asking Angela to pass you on to the local car hire company she uses, we got a really good deal (around 40 euros p/day - fully insured), this gives the freedom to explore the island and removes the walk next to the road (there aren't always pedestrian paths in Rhodes so drivers are used to this but we didn't miss the walk when we got the car). Angela and her team (which also includes her mum) are always friendly and helpful - we also enjoyed drinks with them on our last night which made the trip extra special. Castellino Studios is a great price and the friendly service from the hosts give you an opportunity to make your trip to Rhodes affordable and full of the best local experiences. Would recommend to anyone visiting Rhodes!

Great find it’s a wonderful family run traditional Greek accommodation. It is what it is simple board only at a reasonable price. Mother and daughter cannot do enough for you which is why they will prosper and succeed. Further works in place to make it an even better experience. Highly recommend if you want a base to visit Rhodes, car a must as it is somewhat isolated. Found this little gem when having an extended stay after flights cancelled on the IT outage weekend in Late July.

After being caught up in the hotel evacuations due to the wildfires further South of the Island, we were lucky enough to be put up by Angela and Vicky at the lovely Castellino Studios. Traditionally Greek, each appartment had its own unique identity, carefully designed by the talented hosts. The rooms were clean and comfortable with self catering amenities. On arrival to the appartments, Angela and Vicky made us feel very welcome and continued to do so through out our stay. They also offered us advice of where to visit and very kindly took us to the nearby beautiful site - Anthony Quinn Bay. The appartments are conveniently located near to Falaraki Centre being a 20 minute walk or 5 minute taxi drive to the main beach and selection of bars, restaurants and shops. If you're lucky enough you'll get to see some of their friendly well looked after kittens leaving on the grounds. Thankyou to the lovely hosts for saving our holiday.
