This is one of the bestest hotel in turkey, the staff are amazing and the service is great! We had all inclusive so we enjoyed the food at the restaurant and snack bar. The hotel is very clean and we were very happy celebrating our daughter’s 6th birthday. We had a wonderful at the up hill restaurant on the 16th floor. I would definitely recommend this hotel as it’s my 2nd time here snd both the time I really enjoyed spending time at this hotel. Thank you soo much to the staff for my child’s birthday cake and making it special.

Food is oké view is nice The best receptionist is baris hè helpt us with everything we need The city is 25 minutes from The hotel and The spa en haman is super i would recomend This more fore familie Holiday then friends cant wait to come back again

This hotel is disgustingly bad, it’s dirty wall paper hanging off , furniture is ripped , rooms are dirty and tired, most of the facilities are not open, I saw people saying you get what you pay for , this was not cheap when we booked it and pictures look fabulous, but these are old and dated and looks nothing like this anymore, we complained about facilities not being open but they don’t won’t to know ! Please don’t waste your money there far better hotels out there , plus it’s a 3 hr trip from airport then they stop to try get you to buy from shop ! Everyone has different taste I get that but this is on another level !

The hotel was lovely! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hasan was brilliant, super chatty and gave us plenty of different entertainment options. We stayed for 10 nights and didn’t get bored of the all inclusive as the food was amazing. There’s lots of activities and entertainment through your the day and on the evenings. Would definitely recommend if you’re thinking about visiting Turkey!

Amazing hotel. I really struggle to understand people that give this hotel negative reviews. For what you pay it’s absolutely amazing. The people are very friendly the pools are amazing the food is lovely. A la carte restaurants a snack bar that serves fresh fish daily along with pizzas, pasta, burgers. They have buses that can in to Alanaya twice a day and buses that go to the beach, which is also all inclusive. The transfer time between the hotel and Alanya is around 35 minutes. Own water park along with activities throughout the day that also caters for kids. They are fully aware that the hotel is not right on the strip and do everything possible to cater for people that don’t want to go there. Please ignore they negative reviews. If you calculate costs, it costs no more than £50 a night to stay here and that gets you a nice room, good food, fun activities, a water park, free ice creams, free crepes, freshly maid pittas all day and even a Starbucks (paid). Ignore the negative reviews and come to this place. Me an my partner loved it!!!

We took our grandkids for one week in August and were pleasantly surprised. We had a three bedroom, two bathroom apt in the main building, with fabulous sea and mountain views. The rooms were huge, very clean, excellent air conditioning, huge balcony, fully kitchen, we could not fault it. The waterpark is amazing, and the food there was really nice, we spent most of our days there.'' The main pool was also great though very busy in August, but that didn't bother us. The indoor pool was good as it was cooler and refreshing. The food in our opinion, was good, having a large variety from lamb, fish, chicken, duck, sushi and more. We also ate at the A La Carte restaurant, where we sat on the outside terrace with fantastic views. The food there was delicious, the even made a special birthday cake for my granddaughter on her 10th birthday. I really loved Goldcity and will definitely be visiting again. There was only negative for me, and that was the lack of air conditioning in public areas of the hotel, especially the restaurant. The weather in August was extremely hot and humid, so air con was needed in all areas. We could not sit indoors as it was unbearable, it was obvious they were trying to save money, which is not acceptable. If the air con in main building had been on I would have given this hotel a 10/10. A bid thank you to Eda in customer relations for making this a fab holiday, see you next time

Arriving to the hotel, it really is in the mountains with nothing around for atleast a 7 minute drive/taxi ride. You drive past a construction site that’s right by hotel. The hotel is nice but I wouldn’t say special, could definitely do with updating and a freshen up. It’s not modern. Me and my son got to our room, he went to open drawers and a knob come off the drawer I opened wardrobes to put clothes away and someone’s luggage tags was left in the wardrobe. It’s clear the room hadn’t had a thorough clean, there was marks on wardrobe mirror and balcony doors were dusty and fingerprinted. The food was nice, but just nice. Kids buffet was really silly. No choice at all, about 4 things but the same as adults buffet just smaller scale. Nothing for the fussy/picky/plain eater. Everything was done and dusted by 1am, had to go to bed, could order room service but they didn’t understand you, there was no food/drink menu in the room and had to pay extra. Room key cards! Everyday they stopped working! Thankfully we was on the first floor, never the less a pain to go back downstairs (the lifts take forever! And are like green houses!) to complain to reception, they change the card and same happens the next day! I spoke to others and the same had happened to them. One girl on reception looked at you as if you really inconvenienced her. Chinese/asian orientation, young. Entertainment. Don’t bank on it! Really only aimed at small children, no older than 7/8 I’d say. Every 2/3 days something “good” came on, like acrobatics or stunts. But there was much getting older kids involved. The only thing to entertain is say 9-15 year olds was an arcade, which you pay extra for. Drinkers - wine - it’s tastes very chemical like, very strong, red, white & rose. I must admit I am comparing this to last years alanya hotel (long beach alanya which was 5*) but honestly, it was very mediocre. It did the job but others I spoke to agreed on all above points. Cleaners will pretty much do a quick sweep, make bed, not a thorough clean. I wouldn’t recommend and I wouldn’t go back. It served its purpose but be mindful that there’s no ATM/Cashpoint at or near this hotel either so have cash! WiFi was on and off, worked then didn’t work. 16th floor -sky bar - you pay extra for. Nothing at all going on up there, boring really. I hope this review helps someone I’ll attach what pics I can. **I had videos but it wouldn’t let me attach**

The hotel is great and big. There is a lot of different activities and somethings for everyone. It has a lot of bar and snacks bar around the pool. It is both for adults and kids. The hotel has nice workers and different activities doing the day.

I booked 2 rooms for family of 6. We were given 2 rooms in 2 different buildings, where had to take a bus to see each other. I expected 2 rooms nearby or at least in same building as usually we have whenever we go for all inclusive. I informed the staff, but they didn't bother and suggested to come daily and ask if someone can help. After few days I was told "I got what I was booked" no other option is available. I have 4 kids, I had to apart them, who didn't enjoy to stay away from own sibllings. But, the rooms were fine, clean, tidy and decent sizes. =Also, when go to 5* hotel, we expect bathing stuff i.e. showr gel and shapoo etc, however there was none in rooms. And it was extremly expensive to buy from the hotel shop. On the end we were given, however small amount, had to order again and again. = Food options in pool bar and buffet ＞ was wide choices and varrieties. Staff serving food found to be good and helpful. = There is a small aqua park, but without any guard, people were using the water rides with own risks. My son 10 years old, went on a ride, an adult from behind also jumped in and hit on my son's head hard. He had a big swelling, We informed the manager, who said put a complain and if needs a doctor then needs to pay. Luckily I had some meds to give him. After few days, I found same way all the water rides were used without any guard, so we didn't use agin.

Our first and last visit. We booked premium rooms in Block B. If I knew how far it is from the hotel, I would have settled for a standard room. Block B has nothing to offer apart from a small bar (don't count on any cocktails) and pool. For anything else, you need walk up the most herrendous hill, which isn't fun in such heat and humidity. Shuttle buses are running but not as often as it's advertised. Food in the restaurant is good but let's face it, Turkish food is good anywhere you stay here. Reception staff is not very nice, especially if you speak English and not Russian. There seem to be favouritism for certain nationalities. The worst of all is the supermarket located at the hotel. No prices on anything and also you don't get a receipt. I spent over £50 on stuff that would cost me about £10 in UK. This visit has certainly put me off this country for good and it's a shame, because I really liked my last visit 6 years ago to Marmaris.

We are currently still spending our holiday in the gold City Hotel. Our current overal experience is good, food is really good and for the first time we found a hotel were we didn't have any stomach problems due to food , food overal is very good and nothing to complain about and enough variation. Room and cleaning is ok , we booked a 2person room but got 1x1p bed and 1x 2persons bed so nothing to complain. Pools are nice and clean with also a nice relax pool to have a nice quiet swim. Unfortunately there is also one thing on our arrival that really bothered us and that is: We arrived around 13:00 and didn't get any information at all , they gave us the wristband and that was it. We didn't know if we could go to our rooms or when , we didn't know if we could get to eat first let alone where to eat at all. We kindly asked where we could go for lunch and the receptionist just said "over there" ending the conversation... Usual checkin is at 14:00 but at that time the cleaning still needed another 30minutes which is not too much of a problemen but the problem was that we had to ask 4times in total if our room was ready and everytime again it was a cold 'no' response and once again they ended the conversation and moved on to the other guests. It's a big shame that a hotel this big is not willing to tell/show you all about their facilities not even anything on a small paper for new guests... Our fists days we spent most of our time finding out what the hotel has to offer and we have this feeling that we missed quite a lot and that's a shame. Tldr: Facilities,food good Room ok Reception meh, a lot of work still to improve

We had a really great vacation. There are plenty of activities for both children and adults, and the hotel staff is very friendly. We especially enjoyed the SPA area. I want to thank the masseuse Fatma; she truly knows her craft. I highly recommend visiting this excellent specialist. Thank you, Fatma! 😊💪

We have just returned after a week at this hotel. We all enjoyed our stay thoroughly. We booked through jet2, the booking process was easy, transfers sorted, all inclusive. Pools were great, food was good with lots of variety, most staff were lovely. Hotel room was clean with everything you would need (washer, hairdryer, iron/ ironing board, kitchen with fridge and oven) also working air con. The room was cleaned every day to a good standard with fresh towels. Our balcony overlooked the main pool which did mean it was loud from about 9am but this was fine. The entertainment was okay, the fire show was really good, but kids mini disco wasn’t as entertaining/ was very repetitive. The water park was decent, a reasonable variety slides and hardly any queues (only hard to get hold of the rubber rings for 2 of the available slides). We went to the beach on one day and used the free shuttle bus service, this was also good, there is a snack bar there and sun loungers, we all had fun in the sea. On one day we had a family photo shoot with one of the photographers, this was really good he took lots of photos and these were really good quality and he was lovely. We did not feel pressured to purchase these, but we ended up buying 7 because they were really good! Only con to this holiday was the distance of the hotel from the airport/ city, it was a long transfer and sort of in the middle of no where, but other than that this was a holiday we all enjoyed.
