Benjamin Hotel

The first morning I woke up of the bells from the church and after that I heard sounds from a cat. We could see a part of the church from the window, but we didn’t see any cat. It was possible to sit outside and have breakfast, but most of the guests didn’t do that. After a short while a curious cat lady came to our table. Probably she wanted to welcome the new guests. Perhaps she was a small hostess. After a while I heard a silent purr. It was nice. We had problem when we booked the hotel the day before. There was instability in the computer system, so when we arrived we didn’t know if there were a booking or not, but the lady in the reception did the best of the situation. We got a better room then we had expected. The room was rather large and it had tasteful colours. The next day I hade hoped to se the lovely cat again, but perhaps there were too many peoples around the hotel and too much noise from the church. It was interesting to hear the priest talk to the members. The first ceremony started early in the morning and there were even people listening outside the church. It was long ago I saw so much people visiting a church. I think it must have been during an Easter in Sri Lanka. The spiritual talk gave the breakfast a new dimension, even if I only could understand a few words. The priest managed to catch my interest, even if I only could understand a few words. That is a good grade. After the first priest had spoken it was Sunday school for children. But the second speaker didn’t have such an attractive and captivating voice as the first. But the children seamed to be happy, when they went out from the church with there parents.

Beautiful location, lovely rooms, spacious bathrooms - unbelievably clean. Staff were all lovey, accommodating and kind. We were a large group & they handled entire stay brilliantly. The coffee was always ready as were the staff with a smile.

The Benjamin is a little gem. Set in a magnificently refurbished centuries old mansion, it comfortable., very pleasant, and an overall great experience. It faces a oark and the ocean and is next to a beautiful church. The staff is super friendly.

room was very nice especially the harbour right outside, breakfast was ok , only negative I had was I landed after 11, and there was no one on reception, had to wait around 30 minutes after a few phone calls to get someone to check in

I chose this hotel from pictures and revues. I only stayed one night prior to flying home the next morning. Although the location was next to Split airport, it was on the sea front within very easy reach of excellent restaurants and bars. The hotel was completely gutted and rebuilt (check out google earth if they still have the picture taken in 2011!). My room (6) was exceptionally clean but the views weren't much to write home about. However that didn't worry me as I was only there for one night. This hotel had every thing and more that I could need. EXCEPT it was ruined by the air conditioning not working. I had very little sleep in the sweltering heat even with both windows left open letting mosquitos fly rampant. The staff were friendly and helpful but not on 24hrs and therefore not there when you needed them. It has the potential of being a fantastic hotel at a fantastic price, but my stay completely spoilt by lack of air conditioning

Non ho davvero nulla da dire circa il mio soggiorno al Benjamin. La struttura e' pulita, carinissima gestita da una Signora gentilissima. La prima sera ha cominciato a piovere e non avevamo l'ombrello, la signora gentilmente si e' recata nel suo appartamente ubicato sopra la struttura e ci ha gentilmente offerto quello suo personale. La posizione della struttura e' ottima fronte mare e non e' assolutamente necessario usare la macchina perche' tutti i ristorantini sono proprio li a due passi. La colazione sarebbe un po da migliorare ma tutto sommato discreta. A disposizione degli ospiti per tutto il giorno di acqua e succo di mela veramente gustoso.

Très bon hôtel, situé en bordure de mer. Très tranquille, chambres bien décorées et extrêmement propres. A 8 minutes de l'aéroport de Split. De nombreuses plages dont deux avec des rampes pour personnes à mobilité réduite. Le personnel est très accueillant.
