I stayed here on my second visit to Kathmandu. I and rated 5 star for all the reasons below. Hotel location. The hotel is located centrally in Thamel and getting around is convenient. Hotel Reception. The reception at the hotel was great. I arrived late in the evening on my travel from India and I wanted to do was crash in my room. The check in was fast and smooth as they were already expecting me . The reception team was very friendly and this set the mood for my stay in the hotel. Room. The hotel has suite rooms and deluxe double rooms. I choose the deluxe double and it was ample for two guests. The room was clean and all the amenities was in the room.( the iron and the ironing board can be requested from the reception. Restaurant( Thulo Thakali) Now this is a great place to indulge in local thakali food. The thali set were amazing and delicious . The freshly brewed coffe in the morning was great . They also serve continental food . The bar serve all drink and good one to go for is the Barasinghe pilsner. Staff. The staff at the hotel were amazing and they will go up and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Lastly I would like to say its a good value for money and a great stay for all solo, couple or family.

I travel to Nepal every year for significant periods of time and stay in this hotel every time I’m in Kathmandu an excellent and improving city. For me I always feel at home here. The staff are wonderful, they see how I like things and always try to make things perfect. I find everyone friendly and kind and eager to help., this goes from the cleaning , security and waiting staff through the manager and owners. This hotel is spotlessly clean and everything works perfectly. The food is excellent and I notice the slight improvements for example in the breakfast offerings each year. Despite being right in the middle of Thamel the place is quiet. I would like to suggest improvements but honestly this place is just how I like it and that is a credit to all involved . Thank you for always being so kind . The best hotel in Kathmandu!

We really enjoyed our stay at the wonderful 9ine Hotel. It was in the heart of all the action Thamel has to offer and yet once you stepped into your room, it was such a tranquil space. The room was spotless, very comfortable and surprisingly quiet. Compared to other hotels in the area and considering all the amenities, it was such a bargain. As a bonus, the restaurant downstairs serves excellent Thakali food. I would highly recommend this hotel for a weekend stay or as a base to explore Kathmandu.

My partner and I stayed at 9ine during my trekking visit to Nepal. We were looking for a comfortable accomodation in a good location that would be a quiet escape from the busy Thamel area. In the end we chose with the new 9ine Thamel hotel. The accomodation itself was spacious, clean and exactly what we were looking for. However, the customer service shown by the staff was the highlight for us. Our plans changed several times and the staff went beyond what was required each time impressing us both. Special mention to Karan who is a customer service star at the 9ine Thamel Hotel. When it came time to leave, it was a sad moment which truly shows the type of accomodation and service you can expect here.

Good Points: 1. Location: In the middle of Thamel. Many shops and restaurants around. 2. Service: Very friendly and helpful. We have a late flight back and they allow late checkout ( but of course this subjects to availability) 3. Breakfast: Freshly made every morning ! Delicious and huge. Do try their restaurant too. 4. Room: Modern, clean, new and spacious. Well equipped with Smart TV! ( and it works very well) Good lighting and get a big window. 5. The hotel itself gets good design. My only complaint is that their towels looks old cuz they are not purely white in colour.

Enjoyed my stay at this amazing hotel, very spacious room and bathroom. Beautifully designed with loads of natural sunlight, the wooden floor and part of the walls are perfectly stunning. I loved the futon type of king size bed, very comfortable, bedside table with loads of electrical outlets. The staff are polite, attentive and helpful, there’s always bottles of water in the room, if hungry just go to their nice restaurant and order some steamed momos which were delicious or eat them in your own suite. Walk out of the hotel and we’re right in the middle of shops and restaurants so great location. Very safe and secure, security guards standing at the gate which is locked and guarded during the night, though Nepal is very safe country but the owners of the hotel makes it super duper safe. Cleaning staff is always around to make sure everything is spick and span through out the hotel…what more do you ask for when you’re at home away from home. We will return!!!

I had three stays in this hotel in November as I traveled backward and forward to Kathmandu with my wife. I was able to book a suite in this hotel on all occasions. This hotel is exceptional by Nepali standards . Everything works perfectly , the design is exquisite and hotel is beautifully clean The staff are super helpful at all levels from the lovely owner and his wife , through the manager , the restaurant staff and the cleaning people. Everyone seems very happy and keen to help . I cannot criticise the hotel in any way and it’s now my favourite place in Kathmandu. Already missing Lucky Thank you for an excellent stay
