Avoid this place at all costs. I had to call twice to get my reservation confirmation emailed to me and it never showed up. I chose this hotel because I was there for a 4 night stay and the pictures showed a range, and microwave oven and a fridge. The had all of that but no pots, pans, forks, plates, ect. When I inquired they said that they usually sell them, but they were out. They said I should try a second hand store. I thought am I supposed to pack this stuff when I depart? When I complained to their customer service website the manager responded and said that because of the Alaska Food Code they cannot provide these dishes because they can't sanitize them. Other Alaska Hotels like the Aspen Suites do provide the dishware, pots, and pans, so they must of spent the money to get a dishwasher. My next issue was that there were construction being done in the lobby and one of the workers was smoking outside in front of the air conditioning system which stunk up my room. My key had to be rekeyed several times, and the front desk was unmanned most of the time and I had to wait at a window outside the hotel because the lobby was being remodeled until someone showed up. I had the same situation at check out and the person who did that was the General Manager who looked like he just woke up at a homeless shelter. He was very unkept. As I stated before I wrote to their customer service website and got a response from the manger and wasn't happy with his excuses. I ask for the email of the CEO so he could explain how his company can charge me $225.00 per night for a total of $900.00 for a stay with all of these issues. The GM replied that he was on the email thread. I have not heard from the CEO. Save yourself the aggravation and stay anyplace else but Myplace hotels.
