Mare Paphos

I had such a lovely time at this stunning villa/hotel. First of i have to thank Helena, the patience and care you showed me in making sure my son and i were well accommodated for was touching. My 4 year old son is autistic & has adhd so it can be extremely difficult travelling with him & taking him out anywhere. Helena took my requests on board that was discussed prior via email and placed us in a perfect room location (also thank you for putting us in the upgraded room from the beginning, saved us having to change rooms when my mum joined us on our holiday). The hotel rooms were so clean! It was beautiful, the views, the different lounge areas, the food! It was all 10/10! I really hope im writing her name correctly karina or kare? In guest relations thank you so much for taking on my concern about the aircon in the room & getting it sorted for me in a timely manner and also coming back to check on us to see how we were all doing, i appreciate the care and support that my family & I were shown. I always love going to a spa when im on holiday and this hotels spa did not disappoint. They had a lovely indoor pool with jacuzzi, and my massage was outstanding! THE BEST MASSAGE I have had in a loong time, my body definitely needed it! Their male therapist (sorry im really bad with names) did such an outstanding job thank you so much! I would highly recommend this hotel, the staff were amazing, helpful & caring. Hotel was so lovely and clean! The food was amazing, from the snack bars to the restaurants, fun local kid friendly places to take my son. He absolutely loved this hotel and his stay, he cried when we left and thats big for him! We had a wonderful 7 night stay at this beautiful hotel checking out the day before it closed for the season. The hotel not only enabled us to relax and recharge but it provided lots of options to keep our 8 year old entertained too. Here's a summary of our thoughts - Rooms Gorgeous and very comfortable! Well worth paying a little extra to benefit from a sea view (the sunsets are amazing here!) and we all thought that our shower was 'the best shower ever'! Our room was visited by housekeeping daily with fresh towels. Food & Drink We're a foodie family and were so impressed with the quality of the food, both in the buffet restaurant and in the a la carte's The Taverna and Green & Grill. Fresh, tasty with lots of options. We were also impressed by all of the snack bars/cafe's too who served great lunch options if you didn't fancy leaving the pool areas or if you wanted to grab an iced coffee. Drinks were fully local brands and if the hotel could improve anywhere it would be here. Wine, beer and cocktails were fine but we've had better choice included at other AI hotels. Facilities/Entertainment Brilliant! Our son LOVED the splash park which is suitable for a wide variety of ages and the pools were great (if a little cold). Water polo/volley ball, football, table tennis and the tennis courts were all taken advantage of. We also loved walking down to the taverna bar by the sea for a dip down there. Evening entertainment was typical 'holiday park' entertainment but fun. Bingo, quizzes, tribute acts and vocal artists etc. I'm going to back up other reviews by saying that the real stars of this hotel are it's staff. They are all so happy and smiley (even at the end of a very long season!) and can't do enough to help, a team of beautiful people who made us sad to leave!
