I'm very open minded when it comes to reviews and would rather make my own mind up, we booked this last minute cheap & cheerful getaway and by no means was expecting the Hilton, this hotel is in a lovely location, amazing pool, beautiful views and an amazing sunset over the salt lakes and ok rooms, very dated but clean. That's where the good bits end. The lady who owns it is lovely but her husband not at all. If he takes a dislike to you you know about it (not me) but another couple round the pool. Even to the point of asking a dad playing with his very young daughter (around 4yrs old) in the baby pool to get out as he was too old and put his daughter in the big pool !!!. We had 1 breakfast each there which said €7 for an English breakfast consisting of 2 slices of what I think was fried bread, 1 slice of bacon, 2 eggs and a 2 tiny sausages, she asked if we wanted a tea or coffee but the bill was then €20, The bread tasted like it had been cooked on a filthy grill...we never ate there again. Prices of €2.50 for cans of soft drinks but when you went to pay he tried to charge €3, Self catering consists of a hob and a kettle. No toaster and when we asked we were told No, use a frying pan and oil !!! No shower head holder and water flying everywhere. We weren't allowed anything not bought at the bar, however a group of young greek adults using the pool could bring whatever they wanted and they were fine with that. If you leave your key behind reception when you went out you had to be back by 12.30am. All in all it's a good cheap base if you remember that's exactly what it is...somewhere cheap to sleep !! Would I stay there again probably now I know what to expect.
