The Windsor Castle

Had a terrible experience. The staff is not at all cooperative. I asked for an iron and had to check out and was running late for an urgent meeting. They simply denied that they don't have an iron. How the hell it is possible that such a big chain of hotels is not having an iron. I called 3-4 times to get an iron immediately. Later they just disconnected my call and took off the connection of the landline so i cannot call anymore. Haven't had this kind of experience ever in my life.

The room was not neat, the refrigerator was not working, the towel were dirty, spoons were not served with the food, tissues were not in the room, even at the billing time when raised concern the billing staff was least bother about the complained things moreover he was concerned watt all being used so that he can add in the bill. I need to give a detailed review of the hotel. Good things 1. The ambiance/locality is really good and fantastic. nice surroundings. 2. a lot of greenery and backwaters. 3. a special bar located on an island and to reach there you need to stand on a floating boat and pull you. One of a kind experience Bad things 1. Service is very very poor. 2. Food quality is pathetic 3. Rooms are not well maintained Detailed explanation Service Reception While checking into the resort,  no one was helping us with the baggage to be taken from the car. I had to park my car myself and come back to complete checking in formality. While checking out, I informed them that I was checking out an hour ago in advance but despite that bill was not prepared. they took another 30 mins for sending someone to check the room to confirm all is ok. i told them that nothing was taken from the mini bar but they never listened. another 20 mins to get the bill cleared. en after that they didn't prepare the bill and were waiting for someone to check the room to confirm everything was okay. It took an additional 30 minutes to get my bill. Package fraud : While checking they shared as a package overview and it was not mentioned if the Shikhara boat is chargeable. They only mentioned pedal boat is complimentary and against the swimming pool also nothing was mentioned. we thought the Shikara boat ride was free. The reception team didn't tell us that it is chargeable. I took the ride for 2 days and I was asked to pay while checking out. Such a poor description in the welcome message. It is a daylight robbery. They never mentioned it as chargeable while checking in which was claimed by the reception team that they informed us. neither I nor my family was aware of it. Restaurant service : Pathetic service. Evening snacks Ordered bread toast + omlete+ coffee. Omlete came first, then after 20 mins bread toast came. By that time omelette got cold. I had to then ask for jam and butter which took another 10-15 mins. i am not sure why we need 15 mins to toast 6 slices of bread. This was for evening tea. Dinner For dinner ordered chapati and veg curry with raitha. Chapati which was served was like a papad it was too cold. When asked the hotel team to bring a fresh one they reheated the same and gave it to us no raitha was served and after multiple follow-ups, they served a very very chilled mixed veg raitha. How in the world can someone have it. By this time chapati was over. Breakfast The morning breakfast buffet was all cold stuff and the omelet we ordered was soggy and undercooked. Rooms 1. No fan in the room. Only A/c. If A/c is under repair, u r screwed up. 2. The toilet is not well-kept. Dirty stains on the side. 3. Asked for room cleaning but didn't replace used towel and keep a new one. For 2 people only one big towel. 4. The bathtub was dirty and not well-maintained 5. No hot water 6.
